Perhaps something similar to the little indicators around planets? When you build an economic capital or manufacturing capital, or when you have ships in orbit around a planet, a little icon appears in it's own "orbit" of the planet, letting you know that such and such an upgrade has been built, or there's ships defending the planet, etc. Would it be possible to just have little colour coded circles orbiting your own starbases (not the AI ones, obviously) that just indicate whether it has an

Could the "max population" amount be tuned such that if you have EVERY morale enhancing building built on a planet, then at max population, they'd be 50% content, for example? I don't think the over population problem should be completely wiped out, but it does need to be somewhat more manageable, if the only limit to how many people you can have on a planet is it's morale. ~SDC~

I think it'll be less of a problem if they fix the unallocated funds being wasted issue. With more money available to the AI and with other routes for Humans to make money, it might make it less imbalanced? Either that or one of the AI updates will see one of the AI races trying to do the same thing with the Human and other AI players. Tech trading wars! :) ~SDC~

In what way is it not accurate? Is 92% not over 90%? ;) Seriously though, when going for a Cultural victory you should take the victory condition listing with a grain of salt. Don't stop adding cultural modules to your starbases or cultural buildings to your planets just because it says you'll win in a year. The AI doesn't sit back and succumb to the inevitable, it will fight back with it's own cultural influence if it can, so keep at them! :) ~SDC~

Perhaps StarGalax is referring to the illogical manner the news reports function in. At the start of my current Gigantic map, I was getting reports about how the Drengin were laying the smack down on the Yor... But at that point, I had no contact with either. :) All sorts of things pop up like that referring to races you can't actually contact.. ~SDC~

My home sector's production bonus is up around the 400% mark I think in my current game. Maybe a little higher. If you did something like that along the entire route (or even half!) I suspect you'd end up with a ludicrously profitable trade route. And that's only with around 6 starbases. So it's not too hard. :) ~SDC~

1. I suspect it's based on what your Empire is doing a lot of at the time? If you're fighting heaps of battles, the War Party may come out on top? I'm not entirely sure on this one either. :) 2. Perhaps the AI is specialising on techs more, whereas you're going for a more balanced approach? They may also have been trading (or demanding) techs amongst themselves. Probably also because they have a better economy than you, so they can afford it a bit easier? 3. There's a bug with

1. In the "Details" section on a planetary screen, at the bottom there's a slider for Propaganda. If you push the slider up a bit you can spend a bit of money to make your populace a bit happier. Low morale can also be caused by too high a tax rate (see 2), overcrowding or destabilization efforts from other races. 2. Trade is worth it, if you can keep your trade routes from getting wiped out all the time. :) The extra income per turn from a couple of your own routes, plus a couple of in

If you really desperately want to be able to fight with someone and the senate keeps blocking you from attacking, start massing fleets of your ships outside the planets owned by the AI you want to go to war with? The AI is supposed to recognise that sort of things as a prelude to an attack, so if you do it for long enough, maybe they'll declare war for you? ;) You could also try piling heaps of money into Espionage and.. the other one.. Disrupting their economy. Then hope you get sprung

"Ive been wearching and wearching and I still can't find the word 'wearch'." Have you tried searching the forum for it? ;) The only tip I can offer for trying to find things is to sort the threads by Subject in Stardock Central and try and guess at what a thread with the info you want would start with. Still very slow, but it's a method I guess... :) ~SDC~

Yeah, at the very highest levels it does receive a bonus. At lower levels (below, I believe, "Intelligent") it's handicapped slightly, but otherwise it plays by the same rules. ~SDC~

Check your budgets. You might be in too much debt so all spending has been stopped until you're out of debt, or you may just not have enough money going towards military projects. :) ~SDC~
