Offworlds are really annoying in the current build. The queuing is weird. Maybe I just failed to figure it all out, but it's annoying and not intuitive at all. Also I experienced some odd freezes several times. In today's daily challenge for example, at one point everything stopped producing, Unfortunately, I lost the replay. :( Hadn't noticed multiple replays were saved and thought I made a mess (Huge thanks for this welcome change! And lesson learned - don'

Yep, I asked to review the ranking formula a long time ago, because it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Of course volume should count, but also win rates and opponents' rankings. At the moment it feels like volume's weight is too high compared to other two key components.
Since yesterday's update the game freezes every few seconds and overall very stuttering and unplayable. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem or should I smack my graphic card again for acting up? Yesterday morning everything was very smooth, nearly perfect. P.S. New update fixed the freezes, I think. Thank you!
Do I get a medal for my endless love and devotion to this game? A cookie at least? [e digicons]O:)[/e]
On Intel HD Graphics 3000 on the lowest settings I get an average of 11 fps with 720p and 7 with 1080p. Despite 25% improvements over beta 6 it's um... barely noticeable.
Depends on your definition of playing. If by play you mean run - then yes, he should be able to run the game. Enjoy, however, - only if he's a masochist.
I also noticed that you can't exit the match without closing the game after winning/losing if you chose return to the map.
I know the game does not officially support Dx9, but enforcing it was the only way I could play since the last Unity update. Up until today. Now that's what I get... I'm so very sad...
Off the top of my head: Successful: Identifying opponents based on their play style and treating them accordingly. Skill level should be taken into consideration as well as in-game position. E,g, don't let a strong player recover from D debt. :P In general, identifying threats is crucial, but not so trivial in recent versions. Evaluating correctly how high to bid on auctions. Planning ahead when using claims. E.g. claim
Cubit might be slightly offended if you call him no one. [e digicons]:P[/e] http://www.twitch.tv/cubit32/v/20679479 The above match starts at 2:04:50. Was really interesting to watch. I haven't tried the last build yet, but from what I saw on the stream I got the impression that balance-wise we're moving in the right direction.
I don't think so, I believe it was over 12 minutes. But I'll keep trying. Maybe...
And I was wondering how you could beat that challenge in under 6 minutes! [e digicons]:)[/e]
The sucky part is I can't benchmark my performance in today's challenge (well, I can benchmark, but can't show off [e digicons][/e] ). The cool part - good luck beating that time! [e digicons];P[/e]
What title says. The list is restarted before the map itself. As of now it shows my last result from yesterday's challenge, while Torben's is based on today's map. And I am sure Pb's record is based on today's map as well.
Like I mentioned before, I hate PD already. [e digicons]X|[/e]
No, Blackmagic. We know that happens when you cancel buildings, or research, or whatever. In beta 7 random resources appear out of thin air.:/
There's a difference between data analysis and knowledge discovery. Again, don't get this wrong, we all appreciate your work. But personally, I think we will benefit the most from it, if you focus on data visualization at this point. Good luck and thanks again for your efforts!
yea, I do think there is a lack of "leader" metrics. But I do think that the finals (5 games) of DBO are the best of the best when it comes to examining the mechanics. however I am not sure they are tied specifically to DBO or MBO, But I can see why they would be for sure. I need more experience, to say if it applies to Non DBO as well.
There is no easy to formulate correlation between s
I really think the finals are a better study of what DBO is/does. The finals have assumed better skilled players or at least players better in line with the DBO mechanics.
Well, that's the thing. Nothing is a better study of what DBO is. Because even the tournament hasn't proved anything. Without DBO it used to be very clear who's in the lead, who needs to be focused on etc. With MBO+DBO nothing is clear. They added a whol
Yeah, I made 1350k from single PD in 22 minutes - a typical MP game length give or take. I really hate the idea that now everyone will fight for the correct PD spot, Another gimmick that makes no sense to me.
Where 20 electronics came from at 2:17 (the moment PD construction has started)? I also noticed some random resource shipments in my games. New feature?
Yes, in beta 7 Pleasure Domes are indeed boring,
No idea why I have this weird urge to play devil's advocate, but I just do... In that particular game, Wino, you weren't in the lead at the point of the purchase. Stock situation was a bit deceiving, While you only needed 400k for the buy, Cubit already had 750k in cash. With destroy buyout or without it he had an advantage. That was a typical 3-way contest (Nate was out of it, unfortunately), and in those the first one to blink usually loses. Again, with destroy or without it. <
Every player has 10 stock shares available for purchase. Everyone can buy everyone's shares including their own. Once all 10 are bought, no further purchasing can be done. But you can buy your stock back from your rivals by shift-clicking and paying double for each share you don't own. If you want situation specific explanation, please post a screenshot and we'll try to help.
Yep, in a game with 4 players and 13 resources in total, I'd call 8 simultaneous hacks in addition to natural shortages/surpluses hack spam.
I had a long arguement planend about how the late-game strength of the hacker arrays coupled with the psychology of destroy buyout naturally leads to a hack-off late game but without destroy buyout that becomes a much less viable option and so doesn't affect the base game, but then I decided I'm too lazy to do that, so instead I'll tell everyone the secrets to counter it: Don't ctrl+shift+down, buy small amounts of resour
