Supply ship colors: I feel like the current colorscheme is inverted as to how it should be. Most of the ship should be colored in the playercolor and not the resourcecolor as it is arguably much more important to differentiate ships between players then between resources. (Maybe this could be toggleable?)
Did you use the tab key to toggle between the different HQ's? That's the easiest way to see who is collecting

In B7 when an offworld is destroyed it only gives you a button that says "repair offworld." It no longer tells you what/how many resources are required or how much it will cost to repair it. Sometimes it's not advantageous to repair an offworld immediately based on prices or imminent buyout. Would be nice to see this get fixed quickly as it is important information to know. Also there's still a persistent bug which won't let you cancel offworld shipments. Wh
I keep pressing Esc to get rid of menus. I just clicked 'Esc' and realized that that was not what I was supposed to do an clicked on a random area on the screen. This action, that probably didn't take more than 500ms in total threw away 30mins of game play. Why? Because Esc opened the game menu, random click happened to be on the "Concede"-button => no confirmation => game over => asdfasdfasdfsdfsa
I've

I only clicked on page 2 of this post so Blues' comment looked like a non sequitur to gduma's original post. It's funny that we've come this far that pleasure domes need to b
but I have noticed having scatterings of resources that I know I didn't buy or produce.
Maybe it's because you built something that requires a resource you're not currently mining or producing and then you cancel a building before it finishes construction? So for instance if you have no glass furnaces but you have enough money to build an offworld. Since game automatically us

I would like to point out the matchup between Wino, Nate the great, Cubit, and SG in the first round as a perfect example of what Wino is talking about. Wino was clearly ahead playing expansive (noted by the commentary as well) and yet making the first buy effectively kills him. He gives up all of his cash and gets a minimal return. If destroy buyout wasn't on he would've had a lot of good tiles and territory and not had to spend money to rebuild things. He could've purchased cubi

It seems a lot of the FFA games I've played carbon scrubbing is the first patent taken. Perhaps it's too cheap. It's definitely one of the most powerful patents and particularly helps you in mid/late game when everyone switches to producing electronics for offworlds and chems for research. Shouldn't it be readjusted upward to cost more chems to reflect its value?

Beta 7 feedback: When shift clicking to auto send launches it's very glitchy Tried multiple times to cancel launches that were shift clicked by right clicking. Sometimes it would cancel it and it would just randomly reappear again. Sometimes it would suddenly disappear and then queue a launch in a resource I didn't ask it to. Sometimes it would queue 2 in a resource i didn't ask it to. I could never cancel all launches if i wanted to stop shipping offworld. One would al

Request #1: Concede Button Confirmation Inspired by InSync's thread about a confirmation button about scrapping I'd LOOOOVE to see a simple "are you sure you wish to concede" button. Several of my losses have been when I go to use a black market item and decide not to do it. In order to back out of it I hit the escape key. Sometimes I think I've clicked on the BM item to use it and hit the esc

Same scenario happened to me so don't feel too bad. I let Insync have the auction for 68k because I was going to EMP his offworld right after he used it (he was already severely in D debt rating). Unfortunately I didn't notice he was still defended tile for 30 more seconds and he won despite being ridiculously behind in the game all because of that one auction. Glad to hear it's getting nerfed.

I"m with gameslayer in that I really don't like destroy buyout. It not only kills the flow of the game (you have to freeze everything to hunt all over the map and figure out where their good tiles are) but then you also waste time constructing new buildings - time that those buildings could have be making you money. Most of the time you're killing buildings you'd already want constructed anyway. As an aside to this I just started an unofficial tally fo

RIP Scavenger as a viable HQ. Diminishing returns for black market attacks further strengthen expansive (already strong) and scientific (which is now arguably the strongest after this change) and absolutely kill scavengers. The only thing that prevents expansive and scientific running away from everything are pirates and EMP/Power Surges. It keeps the ecosystem in check. Diminishing those returns will create an imbalance in HQ selection. Your orig

You still can't see cooldown numbers when someone founds which I think it an extremely important addition. This needs to be visible to prevent players (especially new players) from founding and getting stuck. I founded close to an existing colony and had no idea how long i had to wait to claim the important tiles near my HQ. *EDIT*- played on beta 7 and noticed the numbers are a little better and slightly easier to read. The black market and the font for the black m

Also surprised there are no evening spots. That might limit the number of people that can participate here in the US that are employed but it's good for Europe and Asia! I can only do Thursday @ 10am but I'd like to be in. If it doesn't work out for scheduling then no worries. I would also like to request that Cubit plays Monday - Wednesday as a reward for winning the 1v1. [e digicons]:-"[/e] So ther

I find destroy buyout very frustrating at its current state. I had a game today where I bought a player out and needed water. In order to find what water he had on the map I had to scan the entire map and look for the little numbers everywhere. I wasted a lot of valuable time doing so. I propose that when you buy out a player in destroy buyout that you leave the "resource lines" on the screen for the duration of the tile cooldown so you can track down all their old tiles in remote pla
I prefer the old one, but specific points below: - The panels (player list on the right, resources on the right) looked far cleaner. I don't know if you're going for a more 'digital' type look, but I liked the previous version better and the text was easy to read. - The big gap between the $ symbol and the number looks a bit weird. Bearing in mind I've never seen a resource go over $999 I don't nee
With beta 6, offworld launch times seem to have been pushed back up to 60 seconds (from 45). While I still think offworlds are the only real viable endgame tool for most 1v1 games due to prices staying so low, the added black market pressure and higher prices in FFAs may make other plays more viable, though that remains to be seen. Offworlds may still end up ultimately being necessary, but I think the rush will be less important. Anecdo
