These launches had been queued for awhile. This was at the tail end of a string of 6 launches (the other 4 went through fine and then the offworlds just stopped). This screen shot is also after about 5 minutes of waiting with no launches so I had run out of cash because of it. At the time I queued it up food was over $200 and oxygen was a lot cheaper. I thought that if you queue it up it automatically purchases the fuel when you put it in the queue. Is that not the case? If so then fo

Played a 1v1 quickmatch last night. While playing I noticed I hadn't gotten any revenue from the several offworld launches I had queued for awhile. When I looked at the screen I noticed that the progress bar for the launch would move very quickly and then reset while never actually launching. I tried to cancel the launches and restart them but it didn't help. I just kept getting an estimated time for launch and then it would say "Retrying." See below: Ever see t

[quote quoting="post"] * Scanning. I know this has been said, but I want to cover it again. The scanning phase needs to be dropped for competitive play. In 1v1 play, the map is small and the resources tend to be limited. Often there are only a couple tiles with a resource scattered around the map. The reveal map mode is much preferable as it gives both the players an equal (loading times not-withstanding) opportunity to read and assess the map, and determine how much founding locat

I had this issue after being bought out and observing other players. I clicked on one player that was viewing in German and every other player I clicked on was in German from then on out (even players I know that weren't using the German language option).

The auto supply bug issue is bad. It's incredibly frustrating to play with even though I know everyone is presumably affected by it equally. I'd also like to see them resolve the issue with the name of the new black market item that makes the workers slow down (don't remember what it's called). The abbreviation for that is "AB" for some reason so there were 2 AB's available in the game i played - one for Adrenaline Boost and one for the worker slowdown that does th

I can confirm the bug on the pirates being invisible and the auto supply issue. I had plenty of cash to auto supply steel mills next to my base but there was a delay in the mills operating. That can be a deal breaker if you need the cash now!

[quote who="gduma" reply="1" id="3572568"] Drawing black market attacks to a hologrammed tile could be a strategy however. If you have a building that is losing money, instead of shutting it off, you could hologram it and use it as a lightning rod for other players to attack a useless tile. Imagine aluminum is $1, and its no longer worth the cost of power to extract it. You turn it off, and hologram it as an offworld market. Other players spam it with dynamites and mutinies, costing $5k+

I had another question/issue with the hologram black market item this weekend. I built an engineering lab on a tile and then bought a hologram to disguise it. It was right next to carbon and so when i applied the hologram it disguised it as an elemental quarry. I was very happy since it was in a triangle formation with carbon and therefore looked like an awesome disguise. Everyone would believe a scavenger built a triangle of carbon next to their base. Later on I check on the engineer

Hmm....looks like I need to play Quickmatch to get on to the bottom of that list. I normally just look for multiplayer games. Not a surprising list really. All good players on there.

One additional feedback item (unrelated) - could you fix the voiceover for when an auction comes up? My example is that it says "pirates" every time there's a black market auction but frequently it will be for something else besides pirates like a dynamite or core sample. I was involved in the game and ended up bidding on a dynamite that i didn't want because i assumed I was bidding on....well...."Pirates!" Had to read the text to figure it out but my bid was already placed.

Playing last night I bought 2 holograms to use on geothermal plants (that hadn't been built yet but I had claimed the tiles). So I used the holograms on the tiles and the hologram marks them as invisible. Cool. I was figuring they would stay invisible (that's why I bought the second one!). When I actually built the power plant though it changed to a hologram of....a GEOTHERMAL PLANT! Please fix! Pretty sure the idea wasn't to mask a geothermal plant by disguising it as itself! =)<

That buyout should've have happened a long time ago. Looks like someone was just screwing around and amassing resources for the fun of it.

You bring up a good point Kingmorgan but hopefully that part will be solved when the game gets out of beta and we have people lining up to buy it. If they're in the chat room they already own the game so it shouldn't be an issue. I'd love to see this happen. I use an app to see how many people are playing at any given time but have no idea how many are multiplayer. It would help the decision as to whether to launch with 4 players or wait for a full 8. <

Wow....that gives a massive advantage in the game to starting out as scientific then. If you tear the scientific buildings down and put something else up does it still work as scientific? Is it specific to those particular tiles or is it just those buildings as long as they are there? So like if the scientific player had a farm on top of water and I tear it down and build an electrolysis reactor is it still using that water tile as input or does it now revert to being treated li

Let's say I'm a scavenger player and buy out a scientific player. How does it work? My assumption was that after I buy them they continue to function as scientific and get bonuses for having resources above tiles. Also if I use claims that I got from upgrading them then it would function the same way where I could put farms on top of water and not have to pay to supply water. So the questions I have: Does it continue to functi

Oh cool. Thanks for the clarification! Didn't know that. Interesting they have to re-research it. I knew they didn't inherit them.

Played with Zultar yesterday on one of his streams. Watching the playback I noticed something unusual. Early on there was an auction for teleportation which Asimov wins for $72,000 (OmarLittle). Later on after Asimov has already been bought out Zultar (Wells) decides to research Teleportation and it is available to be researched. <img src="http://i.imgur.com/Iknr5hK.

Thanks Soren! I thought it might have been fixed but I guess I forgot since I switch back and forth between beta versions. Any thoughts on a hotkey to sell all of 1 particular resource? If I have the following resources: 1000 carbon @ $5 400 steel @ $250 600 chems @ $400 1000 iron @ $10 The only way to quickly turn them liquid is to ctrl + shift + down. When someone is buying up your stock
