When you finally build the patent lab it then starts to research the patent. Think of it as queuing up what you want. It doesn't start researching until the building itself (patent lab/optimization center) is completed being built.

It's too bad that their fantastic review hasn't resulted in turning in a metacritic score that would help OTC's rating. Someone from mohawk should remind them they forgot to do it!
Why not join eviator? It's just for fun and it gives you some good footage to review. Everyone is welcome.
Watching a bunch of streams I've seen a lot of beginners in 1v1 (and experienced players) hover over the buy button to see how much money they need to buy their opponent out for the last 5 shares. Here's a simpler method: If they have a stock price of $80.00 it will take $800k to buy them out. You have to pay double for the last 5 shares (5x2 = 10). Then just multiply the 10 shares by their stock price and VOILA! ($80 x 10 = $800k buyout price). Essentially just
I'll see if I can organize some people to play a bunch tonight at around 8:15 PM eastern. I can post up anything we find under the soren-fix-it discord section.
I would love to sign up but I don't have any capacity to stream because my computer is too slow. I tried it out about 2 months ago and the video looked awful. I will, however, be around to either play or provide commentary if anyone needs some help on their streams. I'm going to try and take that day off work to help out. Insync might be streaming too but I don't think he's committed to a time yet. Maybe he'll chime in. If I can find a faster compute
I'm am definitely in!
I noticed that a player which was not so good like I was could buy me out but I had so much more money then him. So simply an option which includes the players money to the buy out option would increase the time of playing.
This normally does not happen. Are you sure you secured 5 of your own stock first? It sounds like maybe he got an early buyout on you and you did not secure your stock. The other option in play could be that the ot

I'd like to clear up an extremely confusing play on my part early in game 1. I mutinied DT's iron tile when it was $7. I was looking at it very quickly and thought it was an aluminum tile. =\
This is in multiplayer in 1v1, lobby games, and 4 player FFA quickmatch. I posted my output.log file on discord for you under the "soren fix it" sub. It's happening now in both beta 10 and 11.
Also a second point is that a good player will ALWAYS judge what and where to play as by looking at the colony city at the start. If it's glass you should go robotic, chemicals scavenger etc etc.
I don't think you can distill it to a binary choice. If the colony is producing chemicals or electronics of course carbon will be in demand at some point. That doesn't mean it's an automatic scavenger found. Especially wit
When I get to a late state in the game beta 11 graphics slow to a crawl and the game has a lot of jittery motion when scanning. Sometimes the screen freezes in place for periods of time. I remember having this problem a couple of beta versions back. Note that this happens to me in beta 11 only. Beta 10 is perfectly fine. I'm really hoping it can be fixed before the tournament because it was messing me up a lot last night. I couldn't scrap buildings for a period
I'll second this one. It would be helpful if you're comparing 2 tiles on opposite sides of the map to tell which one is really farther away.
I'd like to play if possible. I can do Wednesday or Saturday.
Also check out twitch streams and youtube videos from Zultar twitch.tv/zultar327 There have been several tournaments so far. Watching them is a great way to get strategy tips of what to do and not to do. Zultar provides color commentary like a sporting event and is a fantastic resource for players to learn what to do.
Interesting idea. I like where you're going with it.
Long answer: No and here's why I agree with Morgan. In 1v1 a lot of people think it's a killer if you get that first EMP reigned on you if you founded first. It's not. A lot of players found first and play it wrong. If you take the chance and found first you need to configure your HQ to withstand that first attack if it comes. Now maybe that means you can't do a steel triangle until you can buy a goon. So be it. Split your steel and you're ok. It dis
Cool Event: Achievement unlocked: All of your buildings are losing money. (for beginners to teach them that they need to shut off unprofitable buildings). I say this tongue in cheek but it would be kinda funny to see it as a random achievement. orgy dome - for a pleasure dome completely surrounded by habitat modules (ok maybe you can't call it that) <span style="text-decoration:
Still happening a lot where i join the queue, it matches me up, and then it kicks me back to the menu.
I vote for Veivi's idea. Guessing which player is which colony makes for fun mindgames.
I've had a lot of games in the 4 player FFA right now where I focus all my BM on the strongest threat and ignore the others because I know they're not on the same skill level. If I see Deathtacticus on the list before the game starts then i'll just look for a player with his tendencies and focus down
I'd like to propose a different idea. I'd like it if it was 100% masq but you don't know your opponents until they are bought out. I think this would be a really fun way to play it and would avoid people targeting down certain people. You wouldn't know if you have 3 good opponents or 3 bad ones or a mixture. You can't play based on known tendencies of different players because you have no knowledge who you are playing. Could we do it this way instead? I fear
