OH! didn't see that, that's great.

well that's the point, IF it is NOT meant to affect planet tiles, it SHOULD NOT cost as much. HOWEVER I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH NOT HAVING IT AFFECT TILES. I definately want it the old way, where it also increased the number of usable tiles accordingly, THEN it's worth the high point cost, without a doubt. PLEASE DEVS! KEEP IT THE OLD WAY! I'm still hoping it's a bug that's going to be fixed in 1.1retail. Guess maybe we'll here
well all i know is, i have a class 12 planet here with 10 tiles... that's not right... RIGHT? because i DO have the extra tiles on my homeworld. DEVS: is there a fix planned for this?
I'm running Beta 4B.018, and i started a new game and selected a planet quality bonus. To my dissmay, the bonus is not being applied correctly! It is reflected only in the Quality Number, not in the number of tiles on my planets!!! The exception is my homeworld, it works correctly there. Is this a known bug? Is there a fix? Is one planned?
I'm tinkering around with modding the game a bit, i can add in my own ships already, but i'm stuck with replacing existing models. How would i go about adding in a 6th line of ships? (i.e. S6_xxx) Is there a file where i can enter in that information?
ok, i know someone has it...
can anyone point me to a .x plugin (3ds max) for galciv II?
i don't know if this has been posted, but as far as weapons go, i'm getting quite a few misrepresentations of size for the component. example being a graviton driver 4, while the stated size is 7 for a large hull, it only takes up 6 when you put it on. And the nano ripper, damage was reported reduced to 5, yet it still reads 6. Also, sometimes now when i design ships, i can have 6 size points left, and add a size 8 weapon, or have say 9 size points left, but not be able to add a 6 point weapo
ummmm works fine for me since 1.1(B1)
SO by Galciv5 i will be expecting starfock to create a fully functional 3d holographic interface for the game. As well as real live drengin, sold seprately at the local petsmart of course. Well brad! better get started on those genetic engineering books! i went my pet drengin!
Here are my top 10. Some are simple but badly needed bug fixes... At least in my humble opinion. 1) GNN report, PLEASE, i would love to be able to double-click on the report to jump to that planet, and not have to click on the report, and then move down to view. It sounds trivial, but i can't tell you how many times i've double clicked a report and been like, SH!T i forgot. 2) This is a holdover from my last suggestions. Colonize
OK, so i thought i'd throw in my 2 cents worth of suggestions for imrpovements to the game. I invite any and all comments, especially from the Stardock guys and gals, WE LOVE HEARING FROM YOU! 1) GNN report, PLEASE, i would love to be able to double-click on the report to jump to that planet, and not have to click on the report, and then move down to view. ah yes, i left that out, already did a memory test, it's all fine. And i meant what i said when i said that GC2 is the ONLY, absolutely ONLY, 100% the ONLY thing the crashes my computer.
i've tried running only on my primary display, no effect. and yess i've looked up the IRQL statement, but it hardly does me any good. Besides, GC2 is the only software that causes the problem, and i run tons of software, games included, some just as new and newer than GC2, and certainly more resource intensive, and they all run without problems. Nothing has ever given me Crashes (BSoD) like GC2 has. (not a complaint, keep in mind i love the game).<
P.S. i don't know why that post is green..... *shrug*
OK, so in a recent thread about Crashes and BSoD's someone asked me to post ALL of the info given in my next few BSoD's, so here's the frelavent info that i have posted be4: Note: My video card is a FireGL, NOT a radeon. The drivers for FireGL are NOT the Catalyst drivers, however they are based on them. All the drivers, both video and sound, are the most uptodate versions. Debug Message: Version v1.1 BETA-2A last updated o
it was beta tested properly. It was finished. And it doesn't crash for everyone (it does for me, but not for everyone)
tried that. Tried every conceivable combination of video, audio, and interface options, nothing has made a difference. I mean sometimes i too can go 7 hours, but sometimes it's no more than 15 minutes. *shrugs*
yep, me crash too
i don't know about that. Something the game is doing is causing some kind of a driver or hardware conflict that no other program does. Who's fault is that? Stardock's? Computer owner's? Gremlin's? who knows, doesn't really matter. Bottom line? it's a recurring problem for a group of people that needs a solution.
right but the game is CAUSING the problem. b/c that's the only time it happens. And besides, it's still a physical memory dump.
