No matter what i do i still cannot create a solar system with customplanets.xml with less than 5 planets. Kryo i think you mentioned a while back it was not supposed to be that way. Is this something that is GOING to be fixed? Am i doing something wrong here? I've tried only making one planet entry under the solar systm, that results in my one planet and 4 other random ones. I've tried using {/Planet} 4 times, same result. I've Tried {Planet}{/Planet}, same result. I've tried {\Planet}, {P

Yes it occured when you upgraded a tile to a powerplant, i reported it in my Beta 2A bugs thread a while back. CC if you haven't taken a look at my thread, take a peek, there are a few minor bugs there.
You guys know there is base adjustment on your speakers... Assuming you paid the $30 to get a decent set. Speaking for myself of course, i have 300 watt 7.1 surround sound speakers and a SoundBlaster X-Fi sound card. So the soundtrack rocks on my system! I can adjust the base to my liking either via digital settings or a thumb wheel on the hard wired volume controller. I suspect those of you who find there is too much base (to hear the voiced esp) have the base turned up way too hi
Planetary improvement Bug: If you build an improvement on a tile, then upgrade that tile to a power plant, upon completion the tile will be empty (and can be built upon later) and the game will still think you have a powerplant on the planet, even tho you do not, and will not allow you to build another. AI Bug: Along with my first AI Bug: "Altarian Resistance uses Arcean AI", it would also seem that the Arceans use the Altarian AI by default. UI Bug:
Graphical Bug: Don't know quite what the cause is, it looks like the polygon normals are flipped, but then again when i make a new game it's a new set of polygons that look that way. It's reproduceable to the extent that it happens again, but just not the same polygons. Debug.err.rar
AI BUG: Altarian Resistance uses Arcean AI by default. UI Bug: On Personality selection screen, mouse wheel scrolling to adjust sliders is one way only, reverse doesn't work.
Love the new intro music, love the vocals. Not enough games are willing to put vocals into their music in my opinion. Personally, i just want to let the devs know i like the vocals, i'd make an impassioned plea that they stay in the title music.
I noticed Beta 2A was just released, is there going to be a log of bug fixes? Or am i jumping the gun?
AWWW you mean you can't use a tag in custom planets to define a map for a specific planet to use any more!??! Is there any way you could reactivate that tag just for us modders?
Maybe???
I know the way planet lights are done was revamped a long time ago, and custom planet light maps aren't used any more. But, can they still be used? For making weird planet lights and what not? If so, what was the tag for customplanets.xml? I beleive it was {Planetlights} or {planetcitylights} ???
CodeCritter, please tell me we're gonna get a mini-update fix for some of these soon? Maybe? Perhaps? Please? All hail stardock, overlords of the universe please??? Cause i've kinda just stopped playing until this one gets fixed. Just makes the map way to silly.
Oh, and one thing that i had noticed but thought was maybe just me. The stars are bigger too. The cursor doesn't fit around them any more, at least not all of them. Some appear smaller than others.
Email sent kryo. I sent ya a good savegame lots and lots of big A$$ planets.
yea but that big guy, the one that's about 2wice as big as the star, its a class 0. Anyways, should i do the normal debug savegame etc etc... stuff? or is this one already worked up?
I'm just curious if this was intentional or a bug. I'm all for having big planets mind you, but shouldn't the star always be larger than the planet? That would mean of course you'd be making everything larger, which is kinda pointless. But i suppose you could use some sort of perspective scaling, making everything smaller as you zoom out. I dunno, i just found this shot odd... Can't even fit the selection cursor around the star or some of the planets. <img src="http://www.dropfiles
It sounds to me, orion sol (interesting screen name huh?), like you are upset because GC2 is not MoO4. GC2 is not a sequel, replacement, or otherwise for the MoO series. They are whole and separate beings. GC2 has its own distinct and independent style, sometimes similar and sometimes very different from MoO. It's not the same game, it's not made by the same people (thank god). Is it perfect? No, of course not, but when you can design a perfect video game with no flaws and app
No, because it's all still happening on Turn 1. It doesn't matter what order things happen (that much), as long is it's still all turn 1.
i can second this one.
At this point, i beleive Battle of the Gods is just a port from GC2, meaning it's received no attention to bring it up to DA standards. It's there now b/c B2 has scenerios enabled now. I'm sure it will be fixed at some point. Devs can correct me if i'm wrong.
The devs stated way back that you can steal the spore tech...... It's supposed to be that way.
there must have been a change to the order of who goes first in this build. Some of the AI's seem to be getting their moves in before you, and the rest after. Still all on turn 1 tho, so it doesn't matter.
what the heck is galactopedia?
