Beta 2A

I noticed Beta 2A was just released, is there going to be a log of bug fixes? Or am i jumping the gun?

It likely will be given past history ( yer jumping the gun a bit IMO ), people are usually quick to notice the updates on Stardock, least for the last two or three updates people posted before the update notes were.

But thanks for posting about it though.

Give the devs until tomorrow--they seem to like posting new builds just before they leave for the day

Noticed some text changes for the super abilities, templates works properly now, new music at the menu screen with vocals (or I didn't notice it before).

Didn't notice much else so far.

Love the new intro music, love the vocals. Not enough games are willing to put vocals into their music in my opinion. Personally, i just want to let the devs know i like the vocals, i'd make an impassioned plea that they stay in the title music.

Pesonaly i thought the vocals were drowned out by the backing music and not at all easy to hear!

From a parents point of view the normal ingame theme could do with the base being reduced as i have to play the game wearing headphones due to a huge base underscore. Oh and yes i do have the base turned down before someone says that

From a teenagers point of view the normal in-game theme could do with the base being enhanced so that I can rock out and drive my parents crazy!!!

Remember, If it's to loud, your to old!

Disclaimer: That is of course what my teenage daughter says to me.

Dont get me wrong the soundtrack 'Rocks!!' but withtwo small kids inthe house i have to either turn off the music or wear headphones because of the base

I suppose the answer is for me to take hte track and edit it myself

You guys know there is base adjustment on your speakers... Assuming you paid the $30 to get a decent set. Speaking for myself of course, i have 300 watt 7.1 surround sound speakers and a SoundBlaster X-Fi sound card. So the soundtrack rocks on my system! I can adjust the base to my liking either via digital settings or a thumb wheel on the hard wired volume controller.

I suspect those of you who find there is too much base (to hear the voiced esp) have the base turned up way too high, or just don't have a decent set of speakers/sound card.

a) Check to see if any stray apps or your sound driver have the equalizer or something similar set wrong

b) It's not spelled how it sounds. It's spelled BASS.
