Same percentage, vesuvius, but different raw amounts. The actual total DPS lowered by Ooze is greater on the DPS build, which is why it was unfair.

Yeah, I read this post at work, and immediately thought what transitive posted. At level 20, you have almost all relevent skills in the game, assuming you ignore Morale (which you did NOT do, to my chagrin). The whole POINT of a build, is managing to be effective at the important points in the game, generally including the start and continuing to the end. Just lump piling everything on like it's a bucket o' skills is completely useless.
So a maximum bonus of 300? Okay, about what I was expecting. Meaning that increases the rank of the skill only increases the base damage by exactly the amount shown in tooltip. Max range level 4 snipe is worth 1000 damage. I'll have to test against these numbers and see how it looks. Thanks!
I never seem to remember to check this in game well enough, but Snipe does base damage and then it does additional damage as it travels. Is the additional damage static based on range, or is it a percentage of the base damage? And either way, what numbers are involved. My guess is that it is a fixed amount (up to 270) based on range, but I could be wrong. I haven't played a full snipe reg in a while, and was hoping someone had cold hard figures for me.
ntropy, also important to minimap is that your allies can 'ping' it by pressing the p key, which alerts you to things they want you look at (Fleeing demigods you may be able to kill, people grabbing portal flags, dangerous areas with multiple Enemies, etc).
Yeah, you probably shouldn't use Bat swarm against creeps except very rarely. It has a long cool down, and not having it ready when you need it causes much frustration on your team. It's like the Regulus who can't snipe the guy about to run, because he decided to melee-snipe someone in his lane...
More likely you just Desynched with him, I think.
It's not hard for an Erebus to get his health per second up over 100. Somewhere in the 120-150 range even. That can be rough to fight.
Well, but consider that the only part of that 120 healing per second coming from himself explicitly is 20 HPs from poisoned blood. All the rest is just what anyone can get. Sedna is the one who really tanks out the self here, giving a potential 89 HPS (If I remember the aura/boost bonus'
Don't take him too seriously Talsworthy, check out his post history, and I think it speaks for itself. Cussing, attacking people, etc. In fact, the one thread where he really needed help, it was generally congenial, so I'm not sure what his deal is.
I wouldn't mind it, but it would need to actually report games realistically. Stats get oddly reset, some games arent' considered wins, or have the wrong players winning. But yes, a /stats #playername# command from chat would fix this. Just a simple win/loss/disconnect list could save a lot of time.
Well, the important point about Health and Armor is that they multiply together to give you the total effectiveness. I generally think of it this way: Total Health = (base health - direct Damage) / (1 - armor mitigation) Direct damage is the amount of damage you will expect to take from abilities that ignore armor. Armor mitigation is the decimal value of your mitigation (AKA, 50% = .5). Ao, as your base health starts to surprass the direct damage that ca
Trans, probably should add a totem of revelation to your monk idol package. Very nice little starting item, and fits in well with your 150 remaining gold. Question: How does he have so many hit points? answer: There are a lot of items you can buy in the shop, for less than 2000 gold each that can substantially increase your total HP, especially when combined. Banded armor, unbreakable boots, nimoth's chestplate, and Hauberk of Life. Blood of the Fallen is also a popular item t
Oak gets both surge for speed and attack, AND pentitence for straight up damage increase. Erebus does have bite though which can be a good damage increaser, and keeps him alive longer. The real reason that Oak is the best at being a general though, is that he can maximize the strength of his spirits with 4 points in skills, while also increasing his weapon damage by up to 80 per swing. And since his other abilities, which are good by themselves, ALL synergize with minions... w
I have occasionally respawned as rook on cataract, in the far left position, and been unable to move from the spot for a few seconds (he'd squirm around like he couldn't path out of the corner). I think his model is too big and overlaps 'outside' the arena. Twice while attempting to use a sludgeslinger an an opponent just out of the items range, I was unable to control my character. My character moved towards the target, the target kept moving away. As soon as I r
We used to have long walks in the park, there were golden moments by roaring waterfalls, and romantic evenings by candlelight.. Where happened to that? What happened to us .
Duh, because each type of DG has a role to play. Assassin's are created to kill enemy DG's. Generals are created to be killed by Assassin's. When a general kills an assassin, it messes up the perfect balance of the game!
Blade of the Serpent owns Essence of Magic. Sad but true. The essence also only cares about when the mana would be taken, not when the spell is activated, meaning that 3 seconds isn't as long as it sounds. Considering that amount of mana you get generate via an activation of the Blade (In many cases, 1000 or more) as well as the generally better passive damage boost... yeah, it is hard to rationalize buying the essence.
Torchbearer is my favorite DG because I like being rewarded for well micro managing my Character. Unclean Beast is my favorite DG because I like being a constant source of pain for my opponents. Regulus is my Favorite DG because flying kites is fun, especially when the kite can barely move. Rook is my favorite DG because I love the SPLORT! sound someone makes when they die from a hammer slam. Oak is my favorite DG beca
You can get something like 45% damage mitigation from two items that sum up to less than 2000 gold: Scale mail and Nimoths chestplate. If you have trouble with a regulus auto shooter, or anyone else who seems to do absurd damage, getting these two items, or their analogs, can be a huge help.
well, keep in mind that even if raIN Of Ice dOesNt KILL tHeM, It caN stILL tag tHeM sO tHat YOU get tHe exPerIeNce. (excuse the odd capitalization, trying out a new typing script that lets me use just my left hand to type all my keys.)
Purely anecdotally, I do not think it does, for two reason: If it did stack, then you would have a pretty decent chance to max out attack speed. 1 in 225 shots will start a chain of two consequitive procs, and more importantly after a single one, you'd have the full 15% chance to get it on the next. Wouldn't be that unlikely you'd get 4 or 5 procs in 10 seconds, especially with making closer and closer to two shots a second. More likely however, is that the buff is si
Been dominating with TB recently, but am curious how others have been playing him, especially hybridized. Here's my first 10: Fireball 1 Circle of Ice 1 Deep Freeze 1 Fireball 2 Frost Nova 1 Circle of Ice 2 Fireball 3 Circle of Ice 3 (S
Interesting. I generally like General strategies (zing!) that use minions. This reminds me of the strat where Oak just sends all his Spirits to attack the citadel all the time. Quirky, but I suspect in the end, it will fail once someone figures out what you are on about. As to this situation, I could theory craft it, but I'd likely just need to fight it myself first to really know what to do. She still has to level up a bit as normal first, for instance.
Demigod is inherently a game where a winning team can often press an advantage to end the game with a blowout. But no always: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/619604/player/32604/ A game I played a while back. Notice that the favor of the losing team is actually fairly close to some of the winning team members. We won by ganking their citadel slightlyh faster and more efficiently then they did ours. Zechnophobe won the award for longest kill streak.
Once they come out with replays, I think that'll be enough. Knowing post mortem why your opponent beat you is fine. Showing current items takes a lot of the surprise out of scenarios. You know that guy has a hit point potion, he knows you have enough mana to penitence him when he tries to use it. Much less interesting and in the moment.
