I think he means 200 health per second aura, not 200%...Unless im mistaken it for another item
DalzK
It has a really small range but it doesnt infact have a small aura :)
This is the solution http://forums.demigodthegame.com/343533
Also add flying monkey Demigod please
Night walkers seem unable to hit/attacking moving targets. Is why they fail. They do alright against someone standing still.
They can to a certain extent but I think if they could hit moving targets that would be an element of op'ness.
Hmmm had a match vs an Erebus using all his night walkers and idols. They actually hurt quite a bit...Will have to try in a more viable match.
Yea a real CTF mode would be awesome :)
By CTF do you mean like you have to hold the flags in Demigod as long as possible to win, or as in you need to take a flag and move it to your enemies base to win?
You could have flags that drop a chest bound to each player on the team for every 120 seconds it's owned. That'd be a real incentive on something to defend, since you'd have to start from 0 if you let it get recapped. That type of thing you'd just want one on a map.
I like that idea actually - worked really well in GW imo and meant timing of the getting the flag/tatics were a lot more important. Oh - and the chest it drops should be avalaible for everyone so yo
Hope game sells well and we can get more then 2 or maybe they could surprise us with more then 2 probably not but gotta be a wishfull thinker
There are 4 confirmed ones, two definately coming out for free after release.
Stuns : Leave it be. They are powerful but short and it requires team skill to chain them and skill should be rewarded.
It requires minimum team skill and is very easy to pull off. The amount of damage done with chain stuns is not proportional to the amount of skill it takes.
Teleports : Again, leave be. Tripple teleport requires coordination and resources and should be rewarded. Legit tactic.
Again, isnt THA
Brilliant post Sevenix - adresses all the main issues at the moment. If these were to all make into to day0 patch this game would be very, very polished. If none of these get in, then things wont be looking so good.
Mist doenst heal anyone btw. His life leech auro DOES effect allies and minions. :) I think the idea of generals being support characters was ditched a long time ago - as sad as it is, it just didnt work :(
Yea kinda overlooked that. Added that his dps should be nerfed a tiny bit (not a lot) and maybe his snares should have 50% chance to hit.
In some games (Command & Conquer Generals comes to mind) it's possible to sell your starter buildings and just rush the enemy base with the troops that gives you (since sold buildings spawns a few infantry units), winning the game within a few minutes. This is a rather unpopular tactic amongst some people though.
Where did it say that in interview? Cuz thats just not true :)
Why do minions need hp decreased in order to increase damage?
If their damage is gunna hurt enough to make them viable, and they keep their HP, then they will be OP - have you ever played agaisnt pre beta 3C oak spirits? Having always at least 1.5khp eventually is too much with high damage - what do you do if gen stays far from you and sends wave of minions to you that can actually hurt but...with 1.5khp? Maybe 2 AoE spells (draining mana) and about 10 secs more finishing
Why do minions need hp decreased in order to increase damage?
Always having at least +1k hp is not "hp that is low enough". And you ask why do they need hp decreased in order to decrease damage? Well they dont neccessarily, but then you cant really put damage up enough so they are actually effective enough - if you do, then they are OP as they do good damage and have good health. I would rather they did lots more damage, but had a lot less hp. Did you not play w
Im betting on occulus. As for the other one no idea :)
And it's starting to become the same here.. The stardock community as a whole seems to have a distain for the people who are good at the games.
What are you talking about? When have they showed any signs of doing this? If anything its the complete opposite. They have listened to good players plently...just look at kyro's roundup and look at his balance mentions - all from the good players.
The devs messed things up on that game purposefully with the patch
Neutral creeps would make me so happy
Yes it would :) Would offer an incentive for people to get out instead of just for flags like Frog mentioned but wouldnt be as random as chests lying on the floor.
Oak He's the worst. Worse than Erebus if you know how to play. I guess some disagree who is 7th worse, and who is 8th worse, but people tend to agree that Oak is either 7th or 8th still. He mostly suffers early on. He doesn't become good unless you manage to get to level 8 or so without being far behind the other players. It's his lvl 1-3 skills that need buffed.

of course address the two biggest real issues: Connectivity and in-game disconnect handling (both technical issues).
You forgot stun locking [e digicons]O:)[/e] But yea, beta 3D is looking nice, apart from small balance and techinical issues. Good job.
Its a brilliant idea, but like Trigi said its a pretty major change in late stages. How about instead of having one stat upgrade ability, we have 3 or 4? The first one gives mostly HP/Armour The second one gives mostly attack speed/weapon damage The third one gives mostly mana/mana regen. The fourth one is balanced (as it is now). This is pretty easy to implemement imo, and would really add diversity into the game - would be
I hate to be evil but I think we're going to have to do more about those playing online who have really marginal systems.
Please, please give the host option to make everyone run the game on lowest settings. I think most of time its people who have shitty comps think they can run it on highest settings and it just lags everyone.
Ah, yes. Micah - that was me. I remember that game - the game started lagging LIKE HELL. I did alt-tab and go watch some t.v after a while, but that was after the lag started. And usually my comp runs it perfect - AND i have everything on low settings (duno why I think it looks better). My sim speed is usually the highest in all games (ten or nine) [e digicons]B)[/e]
I think so far Demigod has done really well at balancing when you compare it to beta 1 and beta 2. Its really had huge improvements, but of course, its still pretty unbalanced (as is every game on release/late beta). Heres a list on who needs buffing/nerfing (please add your thoughts): ======================================================================================== Erebus He has a pretty cool
