No, you missed the point. He only said "if I'm wrong I'll buy you SC2." He NEVER compared SC2 to anything. People just immediately assumed that he did and threw out the reactionary response.
But whats the point of even mentioning SC2 if its coming out in one - two years? Thats like saying if Demigod fails I will buy Warcraft 4 (because WC4 will come out in ages, it sounds stupid to say that).

Yes we all know items effect the way a Demigod plays out, but I still am completely missing your point and its revelance. I mean, what exactly are you trying to say/prove? What should I add to the Demigod nerf/buff list? The fact that a TB can pull off a 2.9k shatter combo so easily with other effects is the problem. I dont care where he gets the mana from (from items or not), the matter of the fact is he can pull a combo off like that which is OP. The fact that a Rook c
The topic is quickly going off topic with SC2 talk, which is kinda pointless because its release date is unheard of. My bets are 2011. Anyway, Sedna is far from being one of the weakest Demigods. Some of the best combos of Demigods in the game consist of her, and in a team match a good Sedna is your best friend. Erebus and Oak however are underpowered as you mentioned. Like mentioned before, they are generals, and they do not have large spike damage moves as assasins do.
Just came here to ask in full release will rankings be decided by who has the most experience? This is, imo, a really innacurate way of deciding the rankings as support characters etc. may not get as much experience. Win/Loss ratio or favour points is still a better way than experience imo. And just read TBO's post, agreed.
Ill answer some of your questions:
Is there any kind of "Ganking" to look foward to in Demigod?
There is to a degree some ganking, but its definately not as common/easy to pull off as in DotA. On prison it is often possible to do this, as long as you stay out of the enemies reinforcements vision range, then its definately possible. Ive done it quite a few times before and have been ganked as well. But it definately plays a smaller part in Demigod than in
Agreed. I think most people always try to go full out with spirits, but he really is a very good support character with any of them.
I mean you can only cast on allies, not yourself.
By the way, I am not usually in and around this forum, I only came to this forum beacuse Dalzk or w/e his face is called comes to the league of legends-clash of fates forums and bitches about that game, and that Quote he has is from the league of legends-clash of fates forums...We don't ban people like Dalzk in our forums, because believe it or not we think of everyone equally no matter how much of a difference in opinion we have about something...unlike the Demigod Forums...[/quo
Quoted from Sayan.
Ok Dalzk, Demigod is the best game ever made, it will be so good all competing games will just stop releasing their up and coming titles and will bow down to the great GPG/Stardock for being the all conquering developer/publisher they are... Now go away, under that little rock that you crawled out from and do w/e the hell you were doing there before, please.
Oh, the irony.
Holding alt or another keyboard button shoud allow you to highligh only your allies.
We need to test this out before saying its OP...The Devs however said they've been aware of this potential problem since beta 1 but they said its not actually effective.
Anyone else think 0.09433 version was miles better than this one (connectivity wise)?
Slurple your suggestion sux...stop linking and posting it in every thread :)
I dont get where this whole items and Demigods balance argument came from - came out of nowhere. Of course some items are more effective than others (wyskrmin gloves with Reg better than with Rook) but still we are talking about balancing Demigods, not the items, as they are all balanced anyway (except a slight few - wyskrmin gloves and staff of renewal).
Your using 0.95.034 or 0.95.033?
Is this with the second update? (There were two today, first one messed everything up, second one was meant to fix it)
You do realise this thread and things posted here are over 3 months old :) ?
Reg Duels...my speciality..
Cool, Thanks Cari! We all love you, you rock!
Wow so much crying over this... Its just a way to encourage people to register/buy from Impulse, whats the problem? Its a form of advertisement in a way. If you want to get a chance of winning this just keep buying games and making new accounts till you win :) If not stop complaining and let that millionth winner be a happy guy!
Im up for being a Regulus snipe and if needed can play another DG on the other team :) I agree this should be tested....been a lot of talk but not much practical testing.
/signed for splitting XP Very good way to encourage splitting up and not sticking together all the time.
I think these money bonuses Frogboy is mentioning though is a team thing so, (whenever the oak kills a reinforcement the team recieves a cut of 50% of his earnings) or something like that... At least I hope, or that would just be a retarded idea
Apart from heavens wrath/finger of god what else kills small units?
Don't quite get your point here; you think a player should just be able to move to avoid taking any damage from Night Walkers? Seems silly.
Yes your right you shouldnt be able to avoid taking damage from 10 night walkers they should always hit you... Just imagine if spirits could hit you all the time even when moving/running.
