Regardless of how you turn your nose up at grammar and spelling, they ARE important, especially in your alleged field. How can you understand Hebrew, Greek, and Latin grammar if you can't understand AMERICAN grammar? And placement of letters and symbols is absolutely CRUCIAL in those languages!

My Brother by learning hands on tearing down and assembling car and diesel engines and never stepped foot in a classroom and is a ASE certified mechanic,one test short of a masters and all his testing has been on paper,and he has been tested by Dodge and is also a Dodge certified mechanic...

My Dad learned Auto repair from a old man who had been repairing cars since cars were invented,my dad managed to get the military to allow this man to teach my dad,so my dad got his masters in auto repair and never stepped in a classroom,just all hands on. My Gran Pa was a Farmer and his Father was a Farmer,they learned farming by doing.

Now on to my testing when I worked at Dominoes was management testing,I was one test from Supervisor,truck driving 3 times not because I flunked,but because the first one was when I was 21 and the Industry was hiring at 23,was the first truck driving student at TSTI Amarillo to be on the vice deans honor role,and had 2.5 college credits in business,when I tried again at 23 the companies in Louisana where I lived did not recognize Texas trucking schools,so I went again at night after working a 10-12 hr day,drove 3 yrs. and had to find different work because our daughter was getting sicker,so after a 7 yr absence I was told I had to go back again for training and to get my License reinstated.
But the Texas and the La. schools I graduated early and ahead of my class,so don't knock learning,I have learned alot over the yrs. by doing and hands on..

I am Terry and no one else,wish alot of you could have done the walk with me,for the ones who tried I left behind yrs ago because the trail got to hard for them.

So if self schooling is ignorance,my advice to those who homeschool,you better send your kids back to regular school are they will become like me stupid.

No, I'm not worried about my homeschooled kids. Not at all. They have an excellent education. I wasn't kidding when I stated that my 9 year old's spelling and grammar skills exceed yours.

Your downfall, Terry, is in claiming degrees you don't have. That's outright lying, and it will cost you on the job, if it hasn't already.

There's nothing wrong with self study. Many great men and women have achieved much through that route. But you should be decent enough to admit it without it being pried out of you.

Ok now that we see jeremiah3131 has been busted, does it really take away from any knowledge he might have to impart?
