Groupy will only group windows which have titlebars and your other windows do not have titlebars. They seem to be showing at most a menubar.

ExtractedData is where the dreams are extracted when they are in use. You can clean up this folder if you wish by clicking on settings in the DeskScapes UI, then pick settings from the menu and then on the advanced tab you can click clear extracted files folder.

The next beta build of S11 will have a registry key which may offer you control over this.

It should be prompting for activation at that point. It sounds like something is blocking that from running. What build of Start11 are you installing and what antivirus/security products do you use?

If no activation prompt shows then the problem is probably a damaged .net install on the PC. The only part of the app that needs .net would be that window.

If it says the DWM is not enabled then something on your computer is making the DwmIsCompositionEnabled api to return false. My best guess is you have installed some sort of OS mod like windhawk and that is doing that to achieve something else. Unfortunately if that is the case then it is breaking WindowFX and you would have to disable / remove whatever is causing that.

You should check you didn't accidentally add as kvm mode if it is KVM mode and also it isn't on the right hand side waiting to be dragged onto the grid. Another thing to check is the service is running correctly as without that you cannot change any settings at all. Seeing if anything like creating a hotkey or toggling other settings get saved OK after a close and reopen would confirm this.
