No black line since disabling start 11 taskbar but now windows still think i am using start 11 taskbar and it keeps disabling auto hide
Is your taskbar at the bottom of the screen? Thats the only supported configuration for autohide in Windows 11 without the Start11 enhanced taskbar.
i have paid for the start menu back three times now. Start8, then Start10, then Start11. then i stopped at Win10 LTSC, which was less about principle than not wanting to buy the same fix a fourth time, and cheaper than being loyal to any of it.
You do know Start11 1.x still works on the latest Windows 11 builds? You don't have to stop at Win10 if you don't want to. We just put out a bet
OMFG... I had recently enabled energy saver in my power settings, and that disabled the blur beneath my start menu and taskbar. How stupid of me.
Thats good to know. I was worried we had broken something for a second there so relieved to find out it was something simple.

What if you turn on automatic colour? Checking here isn't showing any problems with 2.8 and transparency. Are you using anything else which might impact transparency in explorer? Also is the taskbar still showing transparency (with blur?) always or only after a toggle? Finally did you upgrade video drivers recently (as they have been known to break OS blur) and what build of Windows 11 are you using?

I also disabled Automatic Window Grouping to see if that was causing the issue, but the problem still occurs. Expected behavior: E
Just following up -- is there going to be a permanent fix for this? I am still regularly forced to restart Explorer every time I swap windows. I've also started seeing (possibly related) AMD driver / graphics crashes. Most importantly, I also noticed that Start11 is printing the taskbar to the screen even when the screen is locked, showing all open windows & their titles. (I do not use tab grouping and all wind
Dual monitor, enhanced taskbar, both taskbars aligned right, not rounded. After I updated to the beta, the secondary monitor's clock isn't showing (unless I use the ElevenClock app). The Start button is showing and working. Right-clicking the secondary taskbar does nothing. No icons are showing for apps running on the secondary taskbar, no matter how I configure the "Pinned taskbar shortcuts control" settings. If I set tho

First thing to do is install the 2.8 beta update of Start11 and see if this continues as this is the update for 26H2. This is the first report of this we have seen and we have had boxes running the prerelease code for a while and have never seen this so this is a curious problem. What settings are you using in Start11? Are you using the enhanced taskbar, where is the taskbar positioned?
I finally got the seconds working. I've confirmed it works on a VM and a computer with Win11 23H2 installed natively. The solution was so simple it was a face-palm moment. Start11 > Taskbar > Show seconds on the taskbar clock = Off With this setting off, and Windhawk's Taskbar Clock Customization turn on, everything works. The seconds increment fine and do not freeze at '59'. Per Google

The wrap open is your only choice here as you cannot put a machine in the middle of anothers monitors (Windows would not let the mouse smoothly move between them then) We do offer a free trial though which might be worth trying to see if it suits your needs.
