The publisher Strategy First is in charge of translation and the release and selling of the game outside of the U.S. Stadock really has no control over the game in Germany ~SDC~

I think I'm misunderstanding the question. Because what it sounds like your asking for is what the game does. The planets will keep producing the same ship unless you change it to another kind of ship set it to nothing, or set your military production to 0%. ~SDC~

It is determined both by score and number of games submitted the list of ranks and what it takes to get them have been listed several times in other threads though I can't remember which ones. ~SDC~

You do have to be helpful in some way to become one and it probably depends on how often and how many times really. It didn't take me very long to become one. ~SDC~

I've lost track of how many times I've beena asked to join an empire now. But now that theres a thread with my name on it I guess I should make some sort of response. And what really should be said is I've had the game since early June and have only submitted one game to the Metaverse in that time. I won't do much for anyone's score and I don't tend to spend much time reading the empire threads either. ~SDC~

They are patches mostly. They have been coming out about once a month lately, sometime this month 1.12 will come out, then in either December or January there will be a new expansion, probably 1.2 which you will have to pay for if you haven't subscribed to Drengin.net ~SDC~
I read on another thread the planets morale has something to do with it, I don't know to what degree though. ~SDC~
