you can actually make them any size as long as it's a multiple of 16, as far as i know anyway. I've made logo's 512x512 be4.

i kindof agree that transports should be reusable. Perhaps with a refit cost to re-launch.
take your flame elsewhere Xan
i do kinda agree, building fleets of constructors gets tedious. But i would suggest something more along the lines of upgrades being Money Based, I.E. u'd click on a starbase, select your new module, and pay a hefty sum for it, for those with good economys, and the traditional constructor build + slight money for those who don't have the cash.
it's a known bug
It's a known bug
i still would like to see planet's names that belong to empires shown in that empire's color.
no other suggestions???
i've had this happen once with a minor race as well
This is the much loathed "invasion population" or "invasion cheese" bug. having 900trillion people on one planet ups it's influence, making you the influence king! It's being worked on i'm sure
A lot of people have been noticing this issue with 0009 and 0100, including me. I know Brad has asked for savegames reguarding this problem, so i'm sure Stardock is working on it. It's a bug with Information Warfare Invasion. I'm hoping we'll see a mini-update-patch say, 0101 to fix this. So Stardock guys, how comes the squashing of this bug?
are things taking THAT long for you to load?
i Assume you had a spaceport on the worlds? And didn't have a negative amount in your treasury?
I sent a savegame of this to brad, i'm sure he's working on it! So SD is aware of the problem.
It ISN'T the long wished for "True" Master of Orion 3. It's Galactic Civilizations. HEY! the ACTUAL MOO3 is playable if you mod it out. I made a ton of mods for MOO3 and actually enjoyed quite a few games of it. Granted it had ALOT of problems, but there were some high points to it as well. It wasn't all bad <img src="http://images.stardock
that's certainly true
Oh and this one doesn't really belong here, but what the heck. What about another invasion tactic? Planetary bombardment by ships weapons and not mass drivers. Something that would give a boost to the player's advantage, cost some BCs, destroy improvements, but NOT lower the planet's quality rating. Just a thought.
it's gonna end up that way. Personally i wouldnt mind tactical battles, but i know when to shut up about it, other's don't, and i'm afraid this will just stir the pot again... oh wait, it just did... HEH...
Savegame is sent, from my email address, LogicSequence is in the address so you shouldn't have any problems identifying it. EDIT: i forgot the file on the first message, so wait just a sec for the next email, it has the file DOH!!!
Oh when i said the bug was still there, i was talking about the latest 1.0X.1 Patch. NOT 0009
OK, so i don't know if this has been posted or anything yet, but here goes. So after playing the game for a week and a half, i find myself still having to check to make sure i "own" a particular planet. Maybe it's b/c i'm zoomed out of in or whatever. But i was thinking, an easy solution would be to display a planet's name in the color of that empire. I.E. terran planets in Blue, Thalan in light purple, etc... etc... Also, i kinda miss the interface change when you're al
Still found the invasion cheese bug to be present, i have a savegame if the devs are interested.
1.01X.0009 Invasion bug, getting trillions and quadrillions of inhabitants after invasion. Resulting in cultural territory consuming the entire map. Planet quality grows after loading save game, once improvements i.e. soil enhancement are made, and a game is reloaded, planet quality has grown, SIGNIFICANTLY. all my planets are 20+ now. Cultural territory shrinks, then re-grows after loading a saved game. Random Crashes to Desktop.
