Yay! That's fun to read. :D Glad things are working well for you. -Scott-

If the UI isn't rendering for any of you, could you please post to: https://forums.offworldgame.com/461644/page/1/ Thanks! It'll help us fix the problem. -Scott-
Hi, Can you please post in this thread? https://forums.offworldgame.com/461644/page/1/ It'll help us fix the problem. Thanks! -Scott-
Hi, We've heard from a number of users that their UI isn't rendering with the new version of the game. We want to fix the issues, but we need your help! If your UI was rendering in the previous revision but not in the current version, please post to this thread! Please include: 1. The platform you're playing on (PC/Mac) 2. If you're using a laptop, tablet, or desktop 3. Your operating system 4. Your video card(s)
I'm happy to hear that D3D9 works for you. Thank you for trying stuff out to see if it would work. We'll talk at work tomorrow about how to fix things moving forward. Thanks! -Scott-
If you're running on PC, can you try to run the DX9 version to see if that works? It is very tough to read that people's interfaces aren't drawing.
Hey MrCompletely, Yeah, we're considering a meta display that has that information. We haven't ironed out the details yet and it's a ways away, but it's in the plans. Thanks!
Noted. Thanks for the feedback!
3) Difficulty level changes need to reset the "ready" state of all players when one player changes their difficulty level. I hosted a game and everyone was set to manager, but then right before I hit the Play button, one of the players must have changed their difficulty level.
That's a really good point. I'll pass that along. Thanks for all the feedback! -Scott-
Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate them! I want to make sure that we solve as many problems as we can early so that people can see the game we're trying to make. Obviously we can't fix everything, but there are great number of small things that we can do so that people can play and see what the game's about. My hope is that after the next two patches players will be focusing on "nerf this! buff that!" rather than bugs, but that's just my hope. :) -S
I have had it a couple of times where after a multi-player game the option to quit or see stats screen does not appear. Hopefully the patch fixes that too!
Hm. Haven't heard of that one. Maybe this will fix it? If not, please submit a ticket! Thanks! -Scott-
Sorry we didn't reply. I forwarded the messages onto those who are more knowledgable than myself and we should get this ball rolling soon. Thanks!
Make resource production and resource history graphs available for a resource in game. So I can glance at carbon and see that there is a total of 100 Carbon/s being produced by all of us (and only 10/s being consumed), and that it has dropped precipitously over the last 60s. Or I can glance at the power and see that although we only have 20 / 30 power, that's largely because 50 power has been destroyed, EMPed, or frozen. Thus I can anticipate th
Did the scientific HQ AI buy other players? You're limited to 2 Offworld Markets per HQ you control. If that AI bought out 2 other players, then it's within the rules for them to have 5. Observing can help you learn a lot! The event messages are small. They are on our shortlist of what to improve. We hope to have something in the next few weeks addressing them. Thanks for the feedback! -Scott-
That's how we play in the office. If you happen to have a stockpile of the most expensive resource to ship, great! But if you don't, you almost always are buying it to stuff into a rocket. I can look at the phrasing of the Offworld Market to see if I can make it clearer. Thanks for the feedback! -Scott-
To be clear: things weren't working at full screen, but then you went into windowed mode and the game worked? A video would be excellent. Thanks! -Scott-
Magnificent! This is perfect! I'll add it to my list to fix. Thank you! -Scott-
Please keep "Uhhhh, yeah, your stock's being sold." [e digicons][/e]
That's actually me. I couldn't find a good text-to-speech converter that day, so I recorded myself. We're removing that, sorry. (It's so bad!) -Scott-
Added to my list. I have a mac at home so I need that so I can win more!! :D Thanks! -Scott-
This is a really good discussion. I will point Soren to this. -Scott-
That's a long post! :P I think Jim fixed that and it should be in the next update. Thanks for the feedback! -Scott-
Sorry I don't think I understand what you mean here. Probably I wasn't very clear, so here is a scenario to illustrate: I have two Engineering labs. When none of them are working I get the "Zzz" state. When both of them are working I get to see the progress of the one that is closer to completing research (it would be *nice* to see how far along both of them are, but it is not a huge problem). But when I get one working and one idle, I don't have any vis
Point taken. Jim and I will consider it as we're working on the next pass of the main interface. It would be great to have that information, but we need to make sure we balance all the other needs as well. Thank you for the feedback! -Scott-
Adding tooltips to the difficulties made it on my list! Thanks for the feedback!
