You can rush without scouts, rushing with scouts can get you shunned on MP. Scots can kill constructors but you need other ships to kill the enemy. The first capital ship is free so get one of those. Afterwards, scuttle you capital ship factory because you won't need it for a while. TEC should get a Marza with the Raze Planet ability. The Marza will kill enemy ships and buildings very quick. Use cobalts and scouts for back-up. Advent should get Mothership because its c

When I finished my last game in Entrenchment beta, I uninstalled Entrenchment beta along with Sins so that I could get the full version. Sins works now that I have repaired it, but it is version 1.00 and I can't update it or get Entrenchment installed because Impulse has stopped working. I did a System Restore, but it did nothing. I uninstalled Impulse and tried to re-install it. Now though, I can't install it or repair it. The error is "error reading f
I get the same thing. Got no idea why. Sins and Entrenchment don't work either. I'M TOTALLY SCREWED. [e digicons]X([/e]
Title says its all. Nothing works. CCleaner, easy Uninstaller and Add or Remove Programs all failed. So did Registry Cleaner. These 3 programs show up under Add or Remove Programs as well as CCleaner, but easy Uninstaller says they are uninstalled. How does this work? they are somehow installed and uninstalled at the same time and none work. System restore made the issue worse by causing an Impulse error. A white box with a red cross would show up. I can't clea
I take it that no one cares that the Vasari hull repair lasts longer?
It may last longer but that does not help very much during battles when units are being fired at. Nano-weapon jammers are actually really good, but they take up valuable tactical slots needed for hangars etc. Basically you need nano-weapon jammers for repair bays to be useful, but that is still inferior to TEC and Advent. In a nutshell: the Vasari's regeneration
Yes, that's the whole idea of cap ships. Then why did you say that are support ships at best? And the problem is they don't do this well. I would have understood your point if you said they are not very good in the fleet support role in your reply. I don't mean to make them damage dealer or absorber. Capital ships NEED boost on ABILITIES so they can SUPPORT other ships well, as dev had intended to. <br
For the 3rd Expansion Sins : Conquest Frontlines have been breached , forces from all three sides have become scattered. The TEC Government has collapsed , suffering a hugh credit crunch. Vasari factions start to lose their loyalty as local vasari warlords rise to power. The Advents unity has all but dissolved away leading to fanaticism and cults. Rogue Factions now begin to spread out , leaving the sanctuary of their starbases. No longer led by higher
Classical mechanics, quantum physics - THEORIES. And yet they still manage to allow us to build magnetic levitation trains, satellites, lasers, computers. They're all theories, so yes there might be things wrong with them here and there, but they've proven through use that they've gotten plenty of things right.
Have you ever read the writings of Paul Dirac? He is a brilliant mathematician and he used to believe that mathematical theories were right because they
IN current state capitals are AT best SUPPORT ships. They are not meant to be damage dealers (yes, not even Mazda) nor damage absorbers.
That is the whole idea of cap ships!!! There are not supposed to be damage dealers or meat shields, but I agree that many cap ships need a boost.
Thankyou for the info!
Anyone? Does anyone know how to fix this? Oh and now there is another problem !!!![e digicons]XO[/e] [e digicons]X([/e] "Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Object reference not set to an instance of an object." If I click on this box, then a giant white square comes up with a big red cross. <p
I finally finished my Go Big or Go Home game as TEC and then I finally got the chance to download the full version of Entrenchment. I heard that it is vital to uninstall sins before installing this update due to the fact that entrenchment is now compatible with sins. I uninstalled Entrenchment first. When I did that, Sins also uninstalled. When I re-downloaded Sins, it went to 100% but it didn't install. It just stayed like that. I also tried to download Entrenchment,
I've notice that on Impulse and also on the home page for this website, there is a picture of a box for Entrenchment. How is this possible? Entrenchment is download only isn't it? Has anyone else noticed this?
It isn't a beast, it sucks. Last night I finally got a game after HOURS of trying (multiplayer), got a starbase into my enemy's planet, it actually finished building (amazingly enough), and his minimal fleet came in and destroyed it quickly
It does NOT suck. The problem is SBs can't be effectively built in enemy grav-wells. If you build it at 1 of your own planets and upgrade it, it will be extremely good. Vasari should not counter SBs with their
I totally agree with you. i would not have be minded if IC increased the cost though to keep up with the budget. Thats how good Entrenchment it! [e digicons]:)[/e]
Good guide. It sums up the game pretty well.
I like the Vasari SB the best. It reminds me of a spider or something. It is original and very imaginative [e digicons]:P[/e] and the spikes sticking out of it make it look evil. I admit that I didn't like its appearance at first, but I really like it now. The hole in the middle should have energy tendrils holding the 2 sections together or something.
Or you could just use the Revalation's Reverie to inturrupt Missile Barrage.
Has anyone tried activating armistice and last resort at the same time? just curious. Strike craft should be definately destroyed by Safety Override Protocol.
Paradox Any concept, idea, theory or hypothesis will eventually be disproved. This idea disproves itself, but I feel that it may be correct in the majority of cases. M theory is supported by mathematics alone. One interesting thing about this theory is that; if you assume that there are 11 dimensions rather then 10 like in normal string theory, all 5 versions of string theory combine into one theory. </
The same thing happens to me sometimes. If was supposed to be fixed, but it still happens to me. When I get in bidding wars with the AI the pirates still attack me even if I am not wanted and even if I don't have any bounty on me.
Back in Beta 1, I would charge my Vasari SB through the minefield, with scouts. Even though the Vasari SB is slow, it could detonate a broiad path throgh any minefield which was great. I would give it deflector shield, debris vortex and hull and weapon upgrades to help it survive. For some reason though, the Vasari SB's movement is now quirked so it now tries to avoid mines by moving though the Z-axis. This is extremely time-consuming and annoying. It should be
