We don't really have a win or loss screen, but there should have been some notification that you won... Did you win the final battle?

It happened in a different game to me as well, not as the host.
We think the issue is that hosts are killing their processes, which halts the game for everyone else. (We removed the EXIT button for hosts of active games, but - since we aren't explaining it - people are prob
Ahh and please tell us that WE ARE ALLOWED to use mods in MP, damn how I hate CIV V and BE to forbid that .. because I am playing only with my RL Friends and my brother, so we really want to shape it, how we enjoy it the most and that is SLOW [e digicons]:)[/e] Wish you luck
yes, you will be able to do that by release. Have no idea if that works right now.
yeah, indczn1 may be right that going double steel mills is the best way to go for level 1 Scientific. I think I bribed a claim from the BM to get a second Steel Mill when I stream the Scientific tutorial?
Perpetual Motion + Cold Fusion will reduce the water you need to power your buildings.
Thanks for the thoughts, Nels. Would be really interested to know what jumps out at you when you do watch some of the videos. Scientific are the HQ type that will be most short on claims, so you have to take advantage of their strengths. I assume you are not building any Water Pumps, Metal Mines, and Elemental Quarrys? (You might need a Pump, but it's great if you can find a way around it...) You also definitely need to go either into Patents or the Industrial Lab. With the former
Actually, I think we went for a simpler solution, which is that you can use a mutinied Offworld Market just as if it's your own. When the Mutiny ends, your launch order will stay paused until you acquire another Offworld Market (either you own or someone else's).
You can say whatever you like publicly, but we are asking that people hold off on screenshots or videos (besides what we have published, of course) until the 12th. Five days left!!!!
The game speed affects everything except the speed of the auctions becau it felt wrong for them to go too fast or too slow. Also, the game speed is moddable, so you can make it as slow as you want...
I'm also in the preorder bucket right now, so hopefully someone with more play experience corrects me if I'm wrong. Stock doesn't appear to work as in the real world. Your company hasn't issue 10,000 shares that you or someone can buy up until they're gone. It looks more like each company can buy a certain number of shares (or maybe percentage blocks) in each other company until the buyout button is ava
Just preordered. Super excited for the game and I hope it is the success you guys deserve. Quick question about the end of the multiplayer #3 stream I found on youtube from a few days ago. As Soren was up against the last opponent at the end, he was basically waiting to get enough money for the final buyout. Is there any negative to him liquidating his shares <span style="text-decoration:
Thanks - btw, what were you bidding $36k on?!?
hit ENTER to chat... don't know if it works post-game.
you can select your mod from the Options menu.
btw, there is a "mods" folder inside the main folder. You can copy the reference folder and change the XML values if you want to try to mess with the game speeds and other factors. Be aware that XML changes a lot in updates, so you'll want to keep it updated.
if your valuation gets too high, there is a hidden diminishing returns factor which dampens your stock price. Otherwise, the game really does get to the point where it might never end.
Hi Tom! The colony is the primary force (besides the players themselves) which puts demands on the market. A colony with a hug population will consume a lot of life support, for example. Each of the job modules (you can see what they are by mousing over them) also have their own sets of demands. You can get a sense for the demand fomorn the colony by watching the resource bubbles which pop over the colony - each one represents one purchase. The UI for all this is basically deb
ok, we'll look at it.
Nope, this is not really intended. I tweaked the code today so it shouldn't happen (at least as much) in the next version.
You won't need to connect to an external server, but we are using Steamworks, so you need a Steam account.
thanks a lot, Jane, these notes are super useful for improving our tutorial!

what's the link for the subreddit. Sorry, I haven't used reddit much before, so I need to learn the basics.
btw, we do have speed settings which can change the pace significantly. Plus, you can give orders while paused.
I'd love to do a AMA. Maybe when we go up on Early Access?
