Evil Muppet
The max population of a planet is limited by its original size. Maybe the planet had been terraformed before you got it.
I'm thinking: an open ended sci-fi RPG in the style of Morrowind or Oblivion, only the game evolves as you play. Let me clarify what I mean: Each race/faction on the planet has a city. Its so well defended it can't be captured, but the rest of the planet is fair game. Imagine if you were playing an RPG like Oblivion, and from time to time as you walked a certain road you saw people from one of the cities building a village, or castle, completely of their own free will. Maybe t
Yeah, a sci-fi RPG is a rare thing to come by. What would be cool would be an RPG set on a distant planet. The planet is awesome, but no race has a force big enough to maintain dominance over it. There are cities for half a dozen races on the surface. Wild monsters could be native organisms etc. There could be zones which are contested, and others which are shared - a melting pot of races. Personally I prefer the open-ended Morrowing style RPG or Final Fantasy style adventure to the hack n'slash
Well, my friend loves it, but I tried it and I think it sucked big time. Its just so repetitive. If you could fly the ship manually like in Elite it might have been more fun, but meh.
What other suggestions are included in the patch that aren't on the list? That seems a bit shorter than the hundreds of posts on the suggestions thread, lol.
Hahahahahaha... people who haven't got that far just got 0wned! Nice...
The Korx are as ugly as hell. They should kill the Thalans off next for similar reasons. And both have really boring backstories.
In this case I agree, I would love real borders in the sequel, but the Civ games are overrated IMO. I've played since the original on my Amiga, and then got the AGA version so the ocean would have cycling colours to make it look animated, lol. They were great fun back then. Civ 2 came along, and it was great fun to be able to make maps and scenarios. Civ 3 came next and took a great step by adding strategic resources. Then Civ 4 came along, and the dumb combat system made it really bor
Don't bundle new single player stuff in a multiplayer expansion. If multiplayer can't stand on its own, then it doesn't deserve to be in the pack. Don't make SP gamers pay for multiplayer they won't use.
This is off topic, but related... I have a large DVD collection (all legit). I love movies, lol. The thing that's really annoying to me, is to have to sit through those anti-piracy messages every time I put a movie on, because they put them on every damned DVD. Sometimes you can fast forward them, but with some you have to sit and watch them. It's frustrating, and the irony is a pirated version will probably have this message removed. So, why punish the paying customer? Its so annoying, if I kne
Has the defence bug been fixed yet?
Actually, the only thing I don't quite understand is when you take over a planet from another race, why it all of a sudden doesn't work? I mean, I understand that different races would need slightly different fixes for the problem, but you should at least get some production out of it. I think the way to solve that, would be for the stolen tech in that invasion to be the one you need for making use of the planet. It makes sense, the alien base would be
They said they MIGHT do multiplayer in a future expansion pack, but that's not guaranteed.
Maybe, when trading techs, instead of getting all those techs immediately, we get all but one of the necessary research points. Then the player would still have to spend a turn of research to implement the new designs. This would make it more important to trade for older techs, because you'd still have to research them in sequence. (But after the trade, you can probably research several techs in sequence in one turn).
I really hate this mega event. I love the others, but every time this one comes up I feel like never using them again. It would be nice to have the option to enable/disable certain mega events from showing up.
Fix it so the Industrial Spending slider starts the game at 100% - at least on Normal difficulty and above.
some people already mentioned in the forum and I'll reiterate. We need a game start option to set how common should these restriction planets be in our game: Rare, Uncommon, Common, Abundant. Yes!!!
The low population makes class 1's pretty much useless for economy buildings, even after you terraform them. Considering the amount of time it'll take to get one up and running, and the economy you'll need to support them once they're full of factories or labs, they're not really useful until late game. In my opinion the AI isn't really losing out.
Or Arsnic?
They said they would leave the event logger in, so we can at least harvest useful information for each game, but I think you have to poke around the MyGames folder to find the event file. If they couldn't fit the ESG into an expansion pack, I doubt it will make it into a patch.
Lots of great suggestions. Hope you're able to make some of them come true. One request I have is: - Allow hard point indicator arrows to have a specified colour. I want my ships to be red. The arrows by deafult are red. If I make my ships red, I can no longer see hard points to allow for any customization. This is mainly because I am a fan of the red ship. As former moo3 player, I also have to say, this comes closest yet to the hug
Of course its a joke. And yes, put me in the next patch! Make a minor race run by me, with star killing weapons.
Oh, I thought somebody modded Kryo into the game when I read the title. He would make a great space monster, incinerating planets for bad behaviour, or in extreme cases banning an entire race from existence in the universe.
