I used mine to pre-order Elemental & SOTS ANY + purchased SOTS Ultimate. Pretty sweet savings.
You can see the death timer - why not a lock timer. Seriously, if the death timer wasn't in the game would people be arguing AGAINST it? "You shouldn't know when I'm going to revive!"
You can see the death timer because your team "saw" the enemy DG die. All quantities are known so there is no reason not to do the math and display the timer. But you are asking to be able to see unk
^^^ yeah I was thinking the exact same thing about the way ppl will act.
yes to allied flag lock timer. no to enemy flag lock timer. If you were not there to witness the enemy place the lock then you shouldn't know how long ithas left.
actually I think seeing enemy mana and/or items *removes* strategy. Right now there is a big game of trying to outthink your opponent going on. Do you continue to press the attack b/c you think he is low on mana? Do you think he's about to use a heal and so you use your interrupt? Do you fake being out of mana and run a bit to draw the enemy into a gankfest? I bluff all the time. I have no mana but my health is full and I act aggressive and many times I am
^^ I didn't know there *was* a mod to let you see enemy stats/stuff. I thought the mana/equip display mod was only if you were hovering over an ally.
yeah putting minions out there gets kinda crazy UI-wise. I think a good compromise might be to just display the NUMBER of each minion type you have out there inside the skill button or something so you know when you need to summon new ones. I find that knowing how many I have is much more important than knowing their health--its not like I'm gonna waste a heal spell on them! P.S. Has anyone actually tried this in a MP game with some others? It works gr
This is very interesting. Is there a way to toggle it so that it isn't there?
at the moment...no...since you can just toggle the mod itself on/off before starting the game. I could certainly add a toggle though if it would be useful.
not a problem with the mod itself. looks like you did not extract dgdata.zip properly and name the extracted folder properly or the mod manager was not installed properly. the errors you are getting are long before my mod is even used by the game. maybe post the steps you did to set things up so we can diagnose it?
I didn't check to see if the enemy mana was available. I suspect it is...at least for visible enemies. I didn't check to see if enemies in the FOW were available. It just wasn't something I was interested in. @Whackhead, what is the GPG DG page? @Trig - it should be possible...I'll take a look when I get time.
It took a while, but I gave [e digicons]k1[/e] to everyone that replied to this stupid thread. There's nothing wrong with seeing your team's health/mana. Knowing if your team is low on health across the map helps you decide if you should go help them without having to view the situation first hand. Knowing their mana helps you know if you can count on support in a battle. I'm not as convinced about showing items though. That seems like UI clutter for something
That is great! I know I'm hoping beyond hope, but if I'm playing Sedna, can I heal by just clicking on the healthbar of my teammate to heal him? Or will that just center the screen over him? At least now people can see my mana, and I can see if a teammate might be in trouble.
Unfortunately not yet. I spent alot of time trying to get this to work but the targetting code is all in the engine. I wrote

reminds me of a 3v3 I was in that was lagging due to one of my team-mates, we'll call him [e digicons]:moo:[/e] . We asked " [e digicons]:moo:[/e] , what is wrong with your connection??"
Yeah valid point but did you get a 0-5 kill ratio? Or even a 0-10 kill ratio? The thread creator didn't meaned that you should quit every match thats imbalanced he just told about a "rule" when its obvious that you play an heavily imbalaned game. Thats far away from ragequiting, and ragequiting is what you described.
No it was 0-5. But we were on the bad side of the ratio. Pro
I played a 3v3 on Crucible where one of our allies disconnected very early so it was 2Players+1AI vs 2 Players. My remaining ally swore about how I sucked for 15 minutes even though we were winning and had them bottled up near their citadel. They had a money advantage but we owned the map and we had a warscore advantage and they couldn't go spend any of their money on artifacts since they could not get to the flag to cap it. When the other team made a good push to recove
there's lots of in-game music. very dramatic at times. Lots of sound effects and voice overs too. Check your settings and make sure you do not have it disabled.

well it is very suspicious that one OS causes the problem and another doesn't. That's what makes me think it is a difference in what network stuff is installed. Vista/Win7 may be defaulting to certain settings that XP doesn't which are causing your problems. I don't know how to diagnose it though... One thing you could do is install some network snooping software and enable it just before starting DG. Do DG long enough to encounter your problems then go look at the s
