Mine uses a bit more than 500kb of memory. Granted I don't really care cause ive got lots of ram... (im guessing wbvista.exe = wbload.exe for xp)
And for Vista....you could substitute WindowsMe2. And I wanted to add that the video of this is absolutely stunning! Great work!
And for you're name, you could substitute in Dr Uninformed!
I have no problems and im on Vista x64
Ready for me.. All my software work on it... All my hardware, supported..
All is good, did a full reinstall and everything is back to normal with .014
Having a few other problems now, when I reboot Per Pixel seems to be disabled until I reapply the skin, the please wait dialog is now gone as well. Im trying a full reinstall but the download seems to be hung. It keeps downloading the WB6.sdc Does anyone have a straight link to WB6.01 enhanced? Im not trusting SDC installs at the moment...
Thats what I had figured was the issue, it seems to be behaving now. Thanks. Ive noticed something though, the please wait image while applying a skin is gone. :o
Its working fine now, this is very odd I must say. And yeah its 6.01.013
Im guessing thats XP? Two different OS's that as said above could have different builds. Regardless I am pretty angry with this, WB is rendered useless to me at this point. I cant stand the icon size issues that suddenly reappeared as they where in older builds. EDIT: An update appeared and now WB is showing build 57 version 6.01. But Per Pixel is not working. Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 5.4 Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 5.9<br
Ive redownloaded it twice now, Tried restoring it from an archieve, rebooting and got a blue screen. I got into the OS and SDC sees WB as uninstalled.
This new update totally fried WB for Vista x64. I am completely unimpressed. At first I was glad that the system tray was fixed, a few other pieces had problems but I could deal with them. But with this update I have had far too much hassle, I had to yet again uninstall wb and reinstall wb to get it to work right. Once I finally went to apply a skin (Quest) I now see that my system tray icons are new 32x32 pixels, the address bar is fubar too, you know what... heres a pic so you guys can see wha
Yeah.. there is no Office 07 with x64 support. It will run on 64 bit but in 32 bit mode. Most people are calling MS hypocrites as they try to get people to migrate to 64 bit yet they don't support it with their own apps like the Office Suite. Oh the irony....
I'll be sure to give it a try. Theres bound to be an update eventually Would like to hear from someone on Stardock's end. Wondering if they know about the issue....?
Those are Post-Release betas im guessing.
I always thought the exact opposite. The windowblinds gallery is rediculous. 100's of rips of Vista. tis a shame. I really hope WC doesn't let that crap get out of hand here. There are already enough "tweaks" of that skin.
DA Has always been a craphole if you ask me. People continiously rip and repost others work as their own. Whats even worse is DA takes their time with removing the rips and or user accounts. Not to mention that they don't IP ban due to bad e
Thats why you should never use Beta Service Packs - Always have problems in beta...
Yeah this happens with a few things, the gadgets window also has an issue. There is also the volume control slider (to the right of the slider is just a black line) as well as the thumbnail previews/clock having no frame around them...
Quest is very awesome, love all the Vista goodies with it. The only thing I dislike is that the bottem part of the tabs in IE seem unskinned?
Guess im not alone on the issue O_O @Bichur: I will give that a try next time an update is released.
No archiving, I loaded up SDC and saw there was a WB update and installed it. When I rebooted the classic skin was applied and no matter what skin I chose nothing happened. The default Vista theme (Aero) was the only one I was able to reapply. This happened with the update the other day too. I had to uninstall, reboot, reinstall and reboot again for things to work properly. It's not a really bid deal for me, im just worried I'll trip the activation limit and thats never fun...
It seems that the past two beta updates for Windowblinds in SDC seem to break Windowblinds upon reboot. Everytime I've went to apply a skin afterward it only applies the classic theme. I had to uninstall then reinstall the app both times. I don't know what the problem is but I'm getting worried I'll hit my activation limit here....
Love my Vista; love my Object Desktop; WOULD (and will) love my WindowBlinds 6 when it becomes usable for Vista 64 bit....
It's been usable since the release, im using it right now w/Turbo.
