So the new update has the Apply Changes button missing from the options, cant set IP to skin control panel icons..etc. I had to uninstall IP, reboot, install SDC, install the older IP, reboot, apply the settings then update to the newest IP and reboot once more. This is ridiculous.
Can we get the WB without the encrypted graphics? I would like be able to hide the user picture in the start menu.
I too would like it unencrypted. Would be nice to have the option. :D Plus I could edit the theme and fix this annoying white line issue as I showed above. With the noise filtered mess its hard to see what I'm doing.
You really may as well go for a 4870X2 if you're going that high end. It shouldn't be much more. The other option is of course the GTX295, but that's somewhat more expensive at $500+.
It's about $200 more actually. I'd go for a 4890, rivals the GTX275, can OC very well and in a bunch of games comes within 3 fps or so of a GTX285. @Night Train: I've got a few friends with a 9800GT, neither have an
Windows7=Vista SP3 MS just needed a way to charge people all over again for it. "Hey,lets rename it and put it in a new box,the suckers will never know"
If you really do believe that then clearly you know nothing about Windows 7.

This is exactly why I make registry backups before using IP.

..Well I went to run it anyway and the 64-bit one gave me an error: Seems to be looking for shellext when it should be looking for shellext64. Also that bat file is for unregistering the DLL file, not a very wise idea considering I've got IP installed... Still having some issues with x64 and x86 apps not changing the majority of the icons. More have changed but for the most part they still remain Aero. Save As Dialog from the x86 IE7 is an example (all x86 apps show this): IE7 Favorites in x86 (notice the folders): Here is how they look in IE7 x64: Save As:

Plenty of this crap was thrown at him by Clinton the second he step

Economic Stimulus Package more like Government Stimulus Package. That thing won't do shit to our economy except put us so farther in debt the next 5+ generations that will be paying that off. Am I right in saying that Obama has already put us farther in debt than Bush had? Haven't looked at the numbers but by now I wouldn't be surprised. Even if he hasn't by the time he's done "Bailing the Economy out" I wouldn't be surprised if the debt far exceeds the 5 trillion Bush added on. So much for t

For me to get IP working correctly I need to install it though SDC, reboot and update it through Impulse. Once I do this IP works fine. Using Vista x64 as well by the way. ..But thats to install it, after you uninstall it I simply delete the IconHandler folder in the registry (located in: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shellex) and then I apply a registry backup of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT (I highly suggest everyone do this for best results when uninstalling IP) that I made before installing IP s

I've been having an issue lately with Impulse and IP on Vista 64-Bit. It seems that no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall IP through Impulse it always messes up about 90% of the EXE filetype icons. They all become the default icon when rebooting, now I can get the icons to display properly by deleting the IconHandler folder in the registry BUT it seems some installer filetypes become the cmd prompt icon from whatever package I apply, even though some of which should be the defaul
^ Now thats silly.
Oh please don't give me that BS, you and I both know they should have at least included ONE skin, that way everyone gets to see the new features in action and people like you have a guideline on what needs to be done to support these new features. But there is no sense in arguing over something like this. Just going to have to wait and see.
