Which zoo did you visit? I was a big fan of the MN Zoo in Apple Valley since it opened in 1979 (summer between 1st and 2nd grade?), but I had been taken to Como Zoo for a loooong time before that. I am totally not surprised in the least by this turn of events. Defense attorneys, by their very nature, will pounce upon any breath of scandal or impropriety in order to secure a not guilty verdict. That's their job; it's why they get the big bucks. It may have the opposite effect: attempts at undermining Patriot Act legislation may just harden and embolden defenders and supporters of it.
