All right, recruit! Good for you. This seems to be the best of all possible worlds for you and LadyCleve. I wish you the best in all you achieve, and make that SGT! Typical recruiter, blowing smoke up your orifices... Finally get them stripes, soldier! Stand up fully erect and show them the biggest and shiniest pianist out there!

He's right, though, that this activity should be halted. Yeah, I love zooming through just-turned-red lights! <TD class=
Today is an okay day; there was some swelling and discomfort. It's been the seventh day since the surgery, and I am still a bit swollen in the scrotes. But feeling all right, and the incision holes are almost closed. I was very sore last night, but after some icing down and resting I felt much better. I became active down there earlier today... twelfth wedding anniversary, you know... and there was zero discomfort. Excellent to find out
One could use that method to argue that the Baltimore Colts are the worst football team in the league I would have picked the post-Barry Sanders Detroit Lions.
Because the student has come clean and admitted it was all a hoax! A lie! Has Kennedy printed a retraction in the Boston Globe? Because it just adds logs to the fire over which everyone burns Bush in effigy. And roasts marshmallows. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 cl
Bush is the one that issued the secret order that allowed the NSA to spy on Americans without obeying the law. The secret order, as I pointed out in my article re:Secret Presidential Executive Order was not a secret to Congress. From fas.org: The
Why should this ever be a problem to show your id? The ACLU guy got harassed while being asked for ID. It's not a big deal; they have to know if you're flying and how better than to match your ID with the name on the boarding pass? I think what we have here is the same as when I buy a new car (Chevy Ve
during that time the condemned can be a nice person and all of a sudden we should feel bad for them and let them live. It does not negate the crime or overturn the verdict. Makes you wonder why he/she didn't set his/her life in order before going on the murderous rampage that sent him/her to death row. At any rate, this doesn't eve
Locamama: We can just send a quick text message that says we are thinking about each other but don't have to worry about waking someone up in the middle of the night. I like to wake up and find a sweet little message on my phone. Awww, you guys... that's sweet. And a very good idea for romantic sp
What did one snowman say to the other snowman? Do you smell carrots?
Good morning, COL Gene! Always happy to engage this early in the AM. The Bad news for Bush in that the Shiite religious bloc has a big lead which could result in an Iraq that will be governed by Moslem law and not secular democratic principals. But it's a government chosen by the people, majority (Shi'a) rule. The Sunnis knew their days we
I don't have a pre-game ritual, if that's what you mean. I don't even have a lucky shirt I always wear so my team will win. I just sit back and enjoy the game.
I do not text message on a regular basis. In fact, I think I have written about two. Two in my life, not two in the last five minutes. I want to know how people like this here new-fangled availability of text messaging. Because it eludes me. I don't see the point of it, since it costs 10 cents every time I want to send one. I don't see the need for it, since if
All death sentences are "Cruel and Unusual" when you define putting someone to death as cruel. And it's unusual to die of anything other than natural causes, by that same logic. Are you saying that Timothy McVeigh also did not deserve death? As has been pointed out on previous articles (which I unfortunately can't find right now), Tookie and Timmy are of cut of the same cloth: domestic terrorists. Tookie started his terror cells in LA and they quic
How's this for a start? A non or bipartisan agency that answers to a commission consisting of a member from each of the three branches. It would be free to do surveillance targeted by substantially honest suspicion; when it turns out to be unconvincing all records of inadvertency are destroyed. The NSA is an execut
The fun part is not knowing what will happen. That's what makes life interesting. I like your thoughts there, Demo. It's nice to hear that. I like suspense as much as the next guy. But I would love to go back and kick my younger self in the butt for being such an idiot. And insensitive. And goofy.</font
The former security director for El Al Airlines, the Israeli state airline (and they know a little about counter-terrorism), was on FOX News this AM. He said that his attitude is that there are people out there willing and ready to kill and destroy at a moment's notice. It is security's job to weed out those terrorists by every means possible.
actually, i took this test a while ago in school. The teacher scored Totalitarian That is NEVER a good sign!
Glad everything came apart ok, hehe. Apart and back together again, thanks. Except I am still pretty swollen after a long day's walking and moving about. Feel like the guy from "Johnny Dangerously" with elephantitis of the nuts, waddling slowly while cradling these two huge beach balls in his trousers.</fo
When people compare Stalin and Hitler and the Chinese leadership, though, Hitler always seems more evil to them. Stalin and Mao had better publicists.
I have my screen name, and sometimes I've used my real name on my posts.....hey, if people aren't reading me, then they haven't seen my real name. I echo Trudy. I also have put information out about myself, where I live, my last name... While I do like all you JU people, and I have corresponded with s
I do think it's beautifully ironic that the "national coordinator of the ACLU's Campaign Against Racial Profiling" was stopped and arrested after he made a stink about it. Of course he took exception! That's his job!
But they are doing a job. They are not gestapo, and so far (I know I am going to regret this), I have not been singled out for a thorough search. And I have been singled out for a thorough search, even when on orders for the Army. I smile and bear it, because it's my safety they're working for.
bumpity bump bump bumpity bump bump... look at frosty go...
Note: not just "Republican" - "STRONG Republican"! ...just inches away from fascist! Yeah, just think... I work in government, too. : :
