Certainly NOT saying skinning is a waste of time.....that would be nice......kicking everyone here in the teeth is a great way to win friends and influence people.

I only said "a waste of time" because I could not figure out why no one's happy with the way XP looks out of the box. In the future, since I know everyone here either hates me or hates my opinions, I will just shut up.

Though being a LiteSTEP user, I will not be found haunting Nextstart or Hoverdesk forums/threads prattling on about the superiority of MY shell over theirs.

i use an old distro of LS, just seems i dont need the update, if u check my uplaoded theme, kiss theory thats what im running, too many mods = bad, gets confusing to code im not getting into this mac pc holy war i have 1 of each in my room so i think im safe for now

I finally got my copy of Mandrake Linux 9.1. I just created a second partition for it on my hard drive so I can use both Windows and Linux. The wallpapers from this site look nice on my Linux desktop. KDE and Gnome are nice desktop environments. I wonder if there are any desktop skinning programs like Object Desktop available for Linux?
