Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

Java, that all depends on whether feline meows as much as my cat does. Hairballs, thankfully, aren't an issue (yet). Unless you meant feline's hairballs. I can't comment on that.

And yes, despite the incessant meowing, I do like having my cat around. But anyone would love being in the company of anything as cute as my cat.

Ahhh, that's actually not such a bad idea, typing myself to the Chocolate Planet. But honestly, I can't keep bouncing in and out of my classes and my sleep, that'll give me a headache you won't believe

School sometimes get more Elf time then this board does, but have no fear, I don't stray far. Hehe How can I? I'm addicted to chocolate

Feline - to be fair, the origional insperation for the thread was a comment by Elf, so i cannot claim all the fame.

having said that, i think i made nearly half the posts, so that should help make up for it
feline *giggle*
------------------------------

Ahh, but love was such a common topic. It wasn't hard to think of one where the entire community can contribute to. Besides, it doesn't matter who started the thread, feline'll always manage to get about 2/3s of the entire length to be his post =P.

Even I, declared to be the spam queen by my boyfriend, can't beat feline out of the king's seat =P

This community has been proven to be one of the oddest communities among the rest of our friends, after all, who else has a chatroom marathon on a msgboard? =P

Feline - feline *ears prick up*
this suggests that getting on the good side of Elf can help in promotions.

feline wonders how to impress Elf
------------------------

I don't know how many guys have asked the same question. "How do I impress that girl?"

I've got extremely low self-esteem (to the point there there's almost none) and think of myself a little nobody .

But honestly, is it really that hard to impress a girl? I tend to think I'm rather simple minded =P

Glen - Actually, Elf's got a gun to my head as I'm typing. I swear, I don't want to keep posting on here!!
---------

Now that's most definitely a lie. It's not a gun I'm pointing to his head, it's the elf charm people can't seem to be able to resist.

The secret you ask? It's nothing major and it's my secret. Of course I'm not telling you!

Oh come on Elf reveal your secret to feline!

Okay, forgive me for spamming the board, but there was just no way I could read every single box and remember to reply to them all.

I kinda stole feline's technique for trying to reply and have fun with this long thread...

Maybe we should offer the suggestion of making pages for us. After all, once this thing gets close to hitting 500, anyone on a modem is probably going to have a hell of a time trying to load this =P

Now that you mentioned feline, Doreen, something struck me..

That secret of mine doesn't work on the cat....I wonder why....

/me ducks back into her hidden lair to find a potion that may do the job =P

All right,

Elf's off for now to go watch the premire of Queen of the Damned............

I say the movie people did a great b-day gift for my birthday .
Okay...

Queen of the Damned isn't as good as I thought it was going to be............

it was really disappointing.

(example continued)

"Queen of the Damned isn't as good as I thought it was going to be............"

Well, I haven't seen it, so I wouldn't know.

"it was really disappointing."

Maybe you should go see it again?

(and then another post would be answered line by line)

Hee Hee, Crae! You crack me up!

Elf, is it your Birthday today? Or yestareday? Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! for whatever day it is!!!!

My duaghter is an insomniac (she's only 3). So, I'm running on 4 hours of sleep today (which isn't abnormal). I anticipated the need for caffeine, and have a carafe of coffee sitting by my desk now. Once I get enough energy, I'm heading to the coffee lake to fill it back up!!!!

Okay, this is just too overwhelming now. One person separates replies to two posts into four new posts, then the next has to post eight times to reply to those four ... I can't keep track of anything anymore!

Here, I can pick this out: Elf, you actually expected Queen of the Damned to be good? You must not have read any press about it. I've wanted them to continue the vampire chronicles in movie format, but everything I've heard about this is telling me to just wait and make it a rental. And I guess after your "review," I'll stick with that thought!

Glen Eric Reed - Actually, Elf's got a gun to my head as I'm typing.

so you want sympathy for being locked in a room with Elf?

unless Elf thinks you have stolen the Elf rug i cannot think of a single reason why you should expect sympathy for this situation

One of 'em, the title character, yeah. This was Aaliyah's last role. She was also mostly done with filming on the Matrix sequels, but she's supposedly been replaced for that (by Samatha Mumba, for the inordinately curious).

Sorry... movie rumors are one of my hoppies

feline... "so you want sympathy for being locked in a room with Elf?"

I could ask for sympathy on many things in my life, but that's not one of them, no. I'll continue to seek solace in the coffee (which seemed to disappear rather quickly this morning).

Hey, can someone explain to me why I seem to volunteer for more things the busier I get? I'm either doing 17 dozen things at once, or nothing at all -- where's my happy medium?

Elfkura - I don't know how many guys have asked the same question. "How do I impress that girl?"

thats not quite the question i am trying to ask. perhaps i phrased it poorly

Elfkura - I've got extremely low self-esteem (to the point there there's almost none) and think of myself a little nobody .

sadly, i suspect i am in a similar situation on that front

Elfkura - But honestly, is it really that hard to impress a girl? I tend to think I'm rather simple minded =P

/me stairs at GREAT BIG bear trap
/me decides to gently step around it

i would never suggest such a thing about you Elf. you have a cunning and interesting grasp of a range of portal magics, plus you are someone to talk to, which is nice.

what i was actually wondering was the best tactic for making sure that Elf would approve of any suggestions of promting cats.

Home, for the weekend. You think I'm gonna check this thread over a modem connection. What am I, nuts?

Oh ... wait ... yeah, I pretty much am.

I'm still here too Java

we must break the Romance thread number... (whatever that was)
