Toxic Renderer

Toxic Renderer

physical correctness

Found this while researching toxic stuff.

http://www.toxicengine.org/

I was wondering if anyone has heard of it. It's still in alpha ver. 4 but dates back to 2004. An open source renderer under the GNU license. I read what little there was about it and no mention is made of whether or not its still around. As of 17 Nov. 2005 toxic 1.0 alpha 5 was released. There's nothing after that date. The moderators are dictoon, toma (which sounds familiar) and jperret. ring a bell anywhere? BTW ... I can't find any post between 2006 and 2010.

Starbucks?????   I picked you for a Hooters man. :w00t:

Oh well so long as the coffee's fine and the ladies are hot... or was that the coffee's hot and the ladies are fine? :smitten:

Hooters shmooters. They're on TV. These ladies are here in the oh so delectable flesh. I was eatin' my heart out. Not to mention my imagination going into hyper overdrive. :waaaa:

Yeah, me too.... when the mind is willing but the flesh is weak, I'll regularly have a thaughty. :w00t:

That's a good thing. Keeps the mind sharp, focused and in tune with life. Just don't watch any soap operas. They tend to over-exaggerate stuff.

Nah, I never watch soapies.... biggest waste of time on TV next to effing reality shows.

In fact, I hardly watch TV at all these days.... if it's not total junk it's complete crap instead.  x_x

Oh well, I got my trusty PC and the internet... WC.... some great mates as well.

There's always cartoons. I know this mother and son who do nothing else but watch Nickelodeon all day. Talk about needing to get a life.

I'll say!  The pair of them need a rocket up the arse to get them up and about, away from the idiot box and doing something constructive.

:S

Yeah but the mom is just getting over a bout with a bad cold and that while still recuperating from a knee replacement. The son however I think needs a jolt up the ass to get a move on. Staying at home with mommy is all well and good considering the state of the economy but cartoons? No way!

I don't care how bad the economy is, that bloke needs to get his lazy arse out and about doing something more productive, even if it's just mowing elderly and/or disabled peoples yards or something.   How old is this slacker fer crying out loud?

And Nickelodeon? ALL DAY?????   Sounds like he... they both could use an IQ injection as well. :S

I thought knee replacements and the like were pretty much ready to walk on these days.  My 77 y/o mother has had both hips replaced, and both times she was walking the next day...  and she was fully operational (back to her former self) within a fortnight.

If only hip and knee replacements would be the end of my mobility woes.  If I had every arthritic and broken down part replaced, I'd be more prosthetic than real... seriously.  It'd take both hips; both knees; right ankle; right shoulder; right elbow;. right wrist and my entire spine to get me fully mobile again.

Thing is, the medicos all say I'm too young or... it's too damned risky (in the case of surgery to my neck and lower spine), though often times I think they're making excuses.  Public health!!!!  It's great if you have an accident and need mending on the spot... they'll do it no worries, but if it's old injuries coming back to haunt you later, well forget it, the hospitals are chocked up with people are really ill, etc, etc, etc.

It knocks me around some, but I still mow the lawns and keep the yard tidy... I figure while I'm still able why pay somebody else.  It'll take me 3 or 4 days to get over it, but I still feel the satisfaction of having done it myself.

:)

I understand completely but I've known the mom for some time. She used to work at a nursing home caring for elderly people. Doesn't help that she's overweight but that's a gene thing. The son though seems to be doing something. I've seen him out and about every day for the past week. Maybe mom decided enough was enough.

That's better... nothing worse than somebody becoming vegetated in front of the TV.  Hopefully things will pick up economically and he can find employment that'll suit him.... and that ma is back on her feet again soon, also.  There's no way I'd spend as much time at home if I could get around better.  Without a car and having to rely on public transport isn't so easy... for me some days it's a battle just getting to the bus stop, much less going anywhere when one arrives.

It's not just issues with mobility, I also suffer with travel sickness problems... some days just walking across the room will bring it on.  I got pills that help alleviate it, but they're not always effective enough that I can travel very far in a vehicle... and the last thing I want is to be ill on the bus and upset other passengers.

Oh well, I get to travel heaps with my puter and the internet.  Right now I'm in the US at Stardock and Wincustomize...

... and later on I might visit the Playboy Mansion. :w00t:

Oops  :X

This was a stumble upon. I took out the obvious links because it might violate forum rules.

Steamy is what it was. OH BOY!

But like that old saying. Ain't nuthin' like the real thing.

I understand completely. There are times when my legs get so stiff in the morning it's a bitch just getting around. But like you said ... there is the internet and the good old WC and the rest of the loonies. Sorry I couldn't get you the link to the Playboy mansion. they got this really mean lookin' Bunny guarding the gate.

Yeah, same here... my knees hurt non-stop when I'm up and about, but I'm not ready for a geriatric scooter just yet.  It's about a half hour walk to the shops (probably 15 mins for somebody fitter/younger), but I still make it down there once a week when I'm able.  It'd much easier just to call a taxi, I guess, but I've always been independent and I'm just too stubborn to give that up.

Me either!   The mean lookin' bunny at the gate refused me entry cos she could see I was salivating profusely, then she boxed my ears with her ginormous jubbly bits and I ended up with a concussion.

o_O :P :w00t:

What a nice way to your brains jiggled. Think maybe she'll box my cranium too? I could use a good shake-me-up. :P

Yup, just go up to the gate with your tongue hanging out like a dirty old perv and I'm sure she'll accommodate ya. :P

Oh, and to save her standing on a chair, get down on your knees... cos she's short. :d

You know what they say about the champagne glass, right. If it spills over the sides they're too big or some such. :w00t:

Who ever said that has no imagination!

And clearly no inspiration!

Nah, that would never do. :S

You're right. It will never do. Lets chuck the champagne glasses and go straight to the ...... which one is chocolate again? :P
