Toxic Renderer

physical correctness

Found this while researching toxic stuff.

http://www.toxicengine.org/

I was wondering if anyone has heard of it. It's still in alpha ver. 4 but dates back to 2004. An open source renderer under the GNU license. I read what little there was about it and no mention is made of whether or not its still around. As of 17 Nov. 2005 toxic 1.0 alpha 5 was released. There's nothing after that date. The moderators are dictoon, toma (which sounds familiar) and jperret. ring a bell anywhere? BTW ... I can't find any post between 2006 and 2010.

When I saw the title (and who wrote it) I thought that there would be some reference to me.... and curried cabbage.

Obviously there isn't, but.....

There was intent or there wasn't intent?

Just asking in case I need mrs starkers to cook me up another batch of curried cabbage.

A wall to do with toxic stuff like starkerbarks I presume?

Ah, my reputation precedes you. :w00t:

Want to see what I have already? Hmmmm

If it has green clouds and bolts of toxic lightning shooting from them, yeah, I might be interested. O:)

Hey, when you think of it, I'm a toxic renderer.... usually most potent after curried cabbage. :w00t:

Orright, I'll bite.  What is it that you have already?  :P

I'm not gonna be disappointed, am I?

First part in a new wall I'm hoping will at least make the gallery.

Its still a WIP

Hmmm, 'tis looking interesting.  I'll keep an eye open for it in the gallery.

BTW, that looks an awful lot like the cushion I use to sit on in my puter chair... 'cept there's less green. :w00t:

Where do you think i got it from. Lol

I thought something was a bit awry when I found my cushion on its end (probably to get a better light for the photo) and a gas mask laying on the floor beside my desk.

Nope, that was probably before or after my time.  However, it's probably good that it ain't there no more... word has it the place was haunted by an 18th century Chinese restaurant owner/cook, and that's why there were no stray cats in the vicinity.

:-"

Funny you should say haunted. I'll say this though...you were an inspiration for this one. there's lots of...'wind'.

My third one crashed into my personal page. Makes me have second thoughts about this one. Oh well.

Shaunna submitted dozens of walls, most of which were as good as a lot of stuff going to the front page, that just went to her personal page.  She too gets discouraged at times but still keeps submitting nevertheless.  Occasionally she get one go to the main gallery and she's ecstatic, and I guess that's why she keeps trying.

Anyhow, bud, keep yer chin up and keep trying, you're bound to meet with success as you hone your skills and progress onward.

:) :sun:

Thanx for the pep talk. It is much appreciated. Oh...if you look to the Halloween wall thread there's a pic of the wall I'm working on. I'd like to put your avatar in it if you don't mind.

I'm going to upload two versions. One with your avatar and one without. Lets hope one of them makes it.

Fingers and toes crossed and best of luck. :sun:

No thanks!  Knowing my luck, the wind 'd change and I'd get stuck like it.

When eyeballs get stuck a good beanie upside the head will straighten them right out. Might bounce around a little but what's a little jiggle?

Mmmm, precisely!!!   That's why I like to sit in the park and watch the ladies jogging. :P :X

With all the bouncing boobs does your head bounce with them? Mine would. They think you're acknowledging them which makes them all giggly and then they bounce all the more and so does your head which makes them think you're.......don't get me started.

Oh yeah, and the faster they jog the faster my head jiggles up n down... like one of those dogs you see in the rear windows of cars. :w00t:

Actually, this one woman jogger, who was bra-less, she had to know I was acknowledging them.  I started singing 'Poetry in Motion", so it would have been fairly obvious, I think.

:P :d ;P

What d'yer mean, don't get yer started?  You started adoring chest orbs back in the 50's, like I did.
