Found the bug and fixed it for our next patch, though not sure when that will be coming. For the short term I'm able to give you the ability to keep playing it by cheating an entry on the leaderboard. I will delete that entry when the fix is in. Sorry for the inconvenience. -Joel

The fix is currently being tested so it can go public. Not sure the ETA though.
So I've been testing the limits of modding internally and found a similar issue to your second case. I can't promise that this will be the end solution, but things have changed internally so that when something gets removed, you can specify a replacement. I will be testing this more, and if it goes well it should be in the next build. That would allow you to remove glass, replace it with 'Thorium', and then create your entry for Thorium and mod things as needed.
Hello, The modded xml files should go into a 'Data' folder that is inside of your mod's folder. On Windows it would look like: Documents/My Games/Offworld/Mods/MOD_NAME/Data/MODDED_FILE.xml on OSX: USER_FOLDER/Library/Application Support/Offworl
That shortcut is reserved by OSX, so theres a separate Mac shortcut for it: Ctrl ~ Let me know how that works. Thanks, Joel
Hello, The double click issue is known, but it is an error in our Engine. I have contacted their team and was assured it would be fixed in an upcoming version of the engine, but I have no word beyond that. It can sometimes be resolved by playing fullscreen if you're playing windowed, or vice versa. I know that is not an optimal fix, but it may help for now, and I assure you this is on the radar. Thank you for your patience. -Joel
Thank you for the videos, those are helpful for seeing issues. Could you try sending us your output log the next time it occurs and fill out a ticket through QA https://forums.offworldgame.com/461229/page/1/ That will put it more on the radar and assist in trying to reproduce the issue. Thanks, Joel
Hello, Looked into this and someone fixed this internally. The fix should go out in the next patch. Thanks, Joel
Hello, Could you try the beta for the next version https://forums.offworldgame.com/465903 and let me know if the issue is resolved there? We made some updates to the UI system that I hope will fix the issue that you are experiencing. If you are able to, please let me know the outcome. Thanks, Joel
Understood, let me know on those two when you get a chance. My hope is that one will let you play for current time until we find a fix. Thanks, Joel
Hello, We have looked into it, and found that users in other games(same engine) have had similar problems. Have you tried playing windowed instead of fullscreen, if not, does doing so resolve the issue (temporary solution). Additionally you can try running in DirectX9 or OpenGL mode. The batch files to do so are in the game's folder at a path similar to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Offworld Trading Company There should be OffworldOpe
Hello, Could you please post the error message? I'd like to take a look and try to find the issue. It sounds like the game crashes altogether and isn't just a blank window, correct? There is also a Any other information about your system, what version of Windows you are running, whether you are in a strict Boot Camp setup or accessing the partition through virtual machine software would also be good to know. Additionally there is a file in the game's
Hello, This is a known issue on OSX, when in windowed mode. Still trying to work with the engine developers to find a resolution. Temporarily, if you try playing in full screen does it still occur? Hoping to get this worked out soon. Joel
Hello, I have been looking into and working on these issues, so the good news is that they're both on the radar. Both are tied to bugs found in the engine, and I have been communicating with the engine developers in attempt to resolve them. You are correct that it is opening and closing when windowed, as the engine is interpreting all clicks as two. I will post any major updates in the process to clear this up. We appreciate your patience. Thanks,
Hello, Hotkeys.xml on the Mac should be in your user folder(~) under ~/Library/Application Support/MohawkGames/Offworld Trading Company I will look into the oddness with Solar Panels. Thanks, Joel
On the Mac they it be found in your User folder under ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log -Joel
Can you post your player log? There's a known issue that I'm sure is the cause, but I can verify that it is the issue. I'll be digging into it even more very soon. -Joel
Thanks for the feedback. I'll let the interface team know the UI suggestions. As for the unresponsive menus, does it occur in both full-screen and windowed? I've encountered the issue when windowed and have tracked it to an anomaly in the engine, which I have sent in a report for. Basically the clicks are being interpreted as two, so it opens the drop-down menu and then instantly closes it. As I hear back from contacted parties and resolve these items I will update you a
Hi, Thank you for submitting this information. I have been looking into the first issue lately as I've seen reports from others and reproduced it myself. The issue is in a third-party library we are using so I have been reaching out to the creators to get this resolved for our Mac users. I have been doing small changes to try to improve Mac performance, but I will do some more tests on those fronts. If you could share your machine specs, I can try to use those as a compari
Hi, I agree with the idea to make this something that the user can toggle. I will be looking at ways to expose this and other graphics related settings to the user, beyond just the three choices in the dropdown. Thanks, Joel
Thanks for the update on the icon issue. The lines on the quarry may be part of the quarry art asset, which was updated. The buildings themselves flying into position is a temporary visual, so it will be resolved as final transportation artwork is added. We appreciate the feedback on gameplay, and I will pass it along to Soren so that it doesn't get lost in the support topic. -Joel
Hello, Thank you for the information. I will begin looking into this. -Joel
Hello, Are you still experiencing this issue after today's update? If so could you post your system and resolution information? Also the image isn't showing properly for me, could you try reattaching or linking it? Thanks, Joel
I was able to resolve this problem on the Mac locally, and have a fix in the pipe to be released. Will update when that is pushed to see if people are still experiencing the issue on the Mac side. Thanks!
