Ok, I just found out how to edit system colours. The drop down box in the colours section. I wonder if two option boxes would be better? It's only two options, and it'd make it easier to discover the them. I still don't see where to set system fonts. Or are these automatically defined by the skin? For instance, what defines the desktop font?
I second Daiwa here. I've only used SKS6 the last couple of days, but I'm already missing some of the good parts of SKS5 UI. Another thing: Not all elements now show each possible state. Scrollbars for instance. Only the normal state. How can I see how it looks like without applying the skin to test it? I vote for putting the rest of SD skin/themes into same structure "All Users\Documents\Stardock\*" By the way, I just thought of something: If everyone that want to store their skins/themes on another drive: Say that all SD app skins/themes where moved to "All Users\Documents\Stardock\*"; then you could map a folder on another location to the "All Users\Documents\Stardock\" folder. I'm making a concept for a WB skin in PS at the moment. I'm using SKS6 as reference for what controls to skin. When it came to the progressbar I got confused. Generally speaking I want applications to save my user settings under the Application Data folder. (C:\Users\%username%\AppData\ in Vista.) To me that makes more sense than putting it in the Documents folder.

In VBS you can use FormatDateTime to format according to the computers locale setting. That might be better than to force a custom formatting on people. Other than that, I've yet not found a native VBS or JScript function that formats numbers, strings like this. I've ended up making my own padding function.
You could use a transparent dock background and photoshop in the dock bg into the wallpaper. Or use a DesktopX object to overlay it if you have that running.

However Vector Graphics are in Vista, just that no one is developing desktop apps with them that I've seen. MS talked about the whole OS GUI being vector when I described the Longhorn project. Ditto. And I'm not sure about the networking. It's in part more organized, but some things like the connection status and network connections takes more steps to get to. Now, this list of promised features, is that picked from when MS was working on Longhorn? Because that project in reality got scrapped. WinFS anyone? Vector graphics?
Does the company not offer any phone number for support? Maybe there's some utility that lets you protect or lock down your files? Out of interest, does the games say on the box they use X-trap? I'd be useful to know as I'd stay away from them if they do. Or is there a list of games somewhere?
