Can you also try one other thing. If you have a second account on the pc, login to that one and see if the same issue happens when you run apps.
I logged on to the Guest account. But while I was using it everything seemed fine. However, I'm not sure if the issue isn't present at that account. The issue doesn't always immediately appear. I didn't have time to spend all too much time logged on to the Guest account as I needed to to do some work in my main on

I uninstalled WB. Rebootet. Removed leftover files. Removed the registry entries mentioned previously in this post. (Only found one, located in HKCU) Rebootet. Installed WB from SDC again. Rebooted. Applied a skin. Issue still present. I'll submit a bug report tomorrow.
I had hopes that the last reboot sorted things out. But the problem still persists. I keep loosing the window frames.
Sorry, but the linebreaks are gone. Set posting setting to plain text, but as you see, no effect...
I've got the same issue. After I updated WB, rebooted, I started getting random windows missing the window frame. I would still click on the areas where the titlebar should be, but it was completely invisible. First app that I noticed it happened to was Notepad. However, not all windows was affected. I then rebooted again, and now nothing was skinned. I opened up WB config and applied the skin again. Had to kill Explorer.exe and start it again to have my taskbar skinned. Your c
I use ObjectDock Plus which is pretty close to the perfect launching application.
Ditto. ObjectDock Plus is a standard application I install on the PC's I use. I'm rarely using the startmenu menu more. I'm not so keen on the regular dock, but the tabbed dock rocks.
I think Vista got an option for higher res bootscreen. But it increases the boot time though...
With a cow skin!
Happy birthday Tim!
On PPC based macs it works well, but on the newer intel ones there is a problem caused by the emulator. This is going to be resolved by switching the app to be a universal app but it has to wait until time is freed up. I am hopeful development time can be found in the next couple of months for this. I don't suppose you could release that beta with PPC support on SDC? Has there been considered Linux support? (I guess that isn't that easy as there's so ma
He-hey! A good reason to do get another piece of cake!
the only thing is that the screen come a little "jumpy" but maybe the graphic card or the monitor itself (i'll have really soon to buy a new one) It's quite CPU intensive. Turning of the headers will help. I'm hoping a DirectX version will be a big improvement if I can manage to work out how to make use of hardware acceleration in C#. But that's for the future! T
Hallo Sverige! Velkommen til klubben. Hilsen fra Norge.
Thanks Neil! That's great info. That's the kindof stuff that'd be useful to find in SKS.
I've not used any programming forums for a long time. Not since I use to program in Visual Basic. But the sites I used then are gone. So I'm afraid I can't recommend anyone at the moment. If I where to find some, I'd google for .NET forums. If I knew the language I wanted it done it's I'd narrow the search down to that. I know that on http://www.planetsourcecode.com/ you can hire people to do stuff for you. Offering project. Not sure if you can ask for free projects. But it's a
Displaying the album art of the currently playing album? I think it'd depend on what mediaplayer you use...
I didn't mean "fixed" as something that's been broken, but "fixed" as in fixed size. Sorry, I should have mean more clear. I was wondering how many pixels the border can be.
It wouldn't be a complicated program. If you use VisualBasic or a Managed .NET language it can be create quite quickly. I'd offer to have a go at it, if it hadn't been for the fact that I'm so busy with other projects at the moment. I must keep myself from starting new ones. You might find someone with time to do it if you seek up some of the programming forums.
My screensaver Running Matrix WWW Link has an issue under Vista where the settings set in Control Panel isn't applied to the screensaver when it's running. I used .NET's Properties.Settings to store the settings, but for some reason it didn't work well on Vista. I tried MSDN to find out what it could be, but with no luck. So I ended up having to reinvent the wheel and write custom code to store the settin
Thanks Daiwa. So the groupbox border is fixed? max 2px? And the max height of hte groupbox height? I remember having trouble with this before.
I got planned to do a Cow skin with various variation to use for a home built renderfarm I want to set up. Problem is getting spottet cow pattern to tile/stretch/repeat itself well... And of course a cow soundpackage to go with it.
Isn't Leopard going to have 512x512 icons? It's a waste if you ask me. I couldn't even fit 3 512x512 icons on my screen. 128x128 if big enough considering most of us don't have massive 3200x1200 (by using two monitors) screens yet. Keyword "yet". MS and Apple implement support for large icons to be able to tackle new and coming hardware. Prices on monitors are dropping quickly and it's more and more affordable to get larger monitors with higher resolution.
Additionally, the groupbox got two images states. SKS6 says they must consist of two sub images. But what does the two sub images do? In SKS5 you can the drop downbox to view the various state of an control which where unique to each control. But in SKS6 it seem to be fixed to Normal, Mouseover, Pressed, Disabled, Focus/Default for all controls; even if they don't support them. I find that confusing.
