You could use ObjectBar for this. It allows you to display the title of the active window as well as sending Close/Minimize/Restore commands to the active window. And it also got builtin autohide function, so all you need to do is add the text element to contain the title text, the buttons and the skin to go with it. I think you can even embed DesktopX objects into ObjectBar if you should require that.

The Mac reflection effect does look great. I'd love to see it in OD too. However, I do believe that it is more difficult than easy. We'll have to wait and see. After SD put blurred translucency on WB skins in XP I believe they can do anything. Their voodoo is powerful!

I got every version of IE since v3 installed on Virtual PC's for webdesign testing. Other than that I never touch the binary heap of junk. (Though IE7 is a great improvement.)
I normally use photoshop and make the image 3-4 times bigger than the max size of the icon (256x256), then resize it to 256x256 and save it. Then I open it up in your icon program and it does all the resizing for me, and puts it in icon format. A large icon requires more detail than an a small icon. 16x16 sized icons will end up as a blob if you simply resize. Resizing an image from 256x256 to 128x128 to 64x64 etc is one thing because they are all tw
The problem is worse when Vista is displaying 96x96 icons because resampling a 256x256 icons will make the pixels fall out of the pixel grid and make the icon look blurry. And 256x256 is so large that you need to add more detail to it, but those details doesn't always look that great when they get sampled down to 96x96 or 64x64. #3 The new Start menu. Love the new Start Search. Kudos. Don't love the Start menu navigation which wants to exist in a fixed window. The example screenshot shows Microsoft's own apps being cut off. I bought my computer from Dell four years ago. After that I've bought the components when friends/family has asked me to sort out a computer for them. I'm not sure if you can do that with yahoo or hotmail accounts. If it does you'll need to find the address to the POP3 server. It'd basicly be the same as setting up en email client, like Outlook Express. Have a look at the help or support information, or FAQ to see if POP3 is supported by your email account.

Problem is; whenever you get #3 and you ask what's wrong you usually get a #5. If you pursue that you get #10. ("You'd know if you really cared."). You're then standing there, stomped, trying to figure out what the hell you've done. Or at least what she thinks you've done. It's them a matter of going though the usual checklist until you get a response.
