Cool, thanks! I'll get you the info, had to get rid of 2.01 found it on some iffy website and it attempted to install some browser hijacking poop. :( I'll reinstall V2.13 and get you guys what you need. Thanks,
Ugh, Had to roll back all the way to 2.01 to avoid my weird issue with SSD usage. But now for some odd reason I'm getting the same bug as people in this thread. As soon as Fences is loaded up, my icons are all locked in place, regardless of the sort or arrangement/grid settings. Even if I disable it, the icons are still stuck. I have to uninstall fences alltogether in order to get rid of the issue. :( Anybody know of a fix?
Howdy there, After thinking there was something wrong with my old PC I had stopped using Fences, my SSD would shoot up to 100% usage all the time and would make Windows Explorer and Fences highly unresponsive. I splurged a little after the holidays and got a brand new X99 system, and I was a bit shocked to see the exact same behavior as before. As soon as I setup a portal folder, the system drive will start to get usage spikes and shortly gets stuck at 100% with small dips her
Well I'm glad my query turned suggestion. :) Cheers,
Howdy all, Huge fan of fences, definitely one of my favorite desktop management apps. I've recently acquired the beta for Windowsblinds for W8, and I was wondering something. Is there a way to have the windowblinds effects applied unto Fences? I just think it'd give the fences a nicer look while jiving better with the rest of the UI.
Not a fix but you can always use ALT+MouseScrollUp/Down to switch "fence window".
Well, I'm not sure if this is 100% consistent. But when I logged into my workstation from home last night, it seems to have done a more thorough refresh of the desktop icons/setup, and then the forsaken fence gained it's borders and buttons. Maybe a simple Log off/on might do the trick? I didn't try that to be honest. Happy I didn't have to destroy all my setup from yesterday. Speaking of which... Snapshot time!
Howdy, Completely in love with this amazing tool. But I've run into an issue which is driving me nuts. Sometimes, when I create a portal. (happened 2/3 times now) it will create one that has no fence, or no header. So I see the icons, and I can make the scrollbar appear. But anything else I can't do. Move/resize/DELETE... I know everyone says to click on the "X" to remove a fence you don't want anymore. But what do you do when you can't see it?

As you say, from a end-user perspective all the rules and such _should_ be exactly the same as playing the NPC. The problem is that the *underlying code* is not set up to handle multiplayer and would need to be gutted. This is what takes a lot of time. This is true. Also, the tur
500 Mana sounds pretty darn cheap! :) Although the number of turns sounds about right, unless my mind is playing tricks on me but in a normal game of MOM you'd end up with at least a casting skill of around 200 (dpending on playstyle) and so casting the 5000 mana Spell Of Mastery would take just that, 25 turns. :) And it's good that it breaks all the alliances. If anything, all the other factions should ally regardless of alignment and march to your cap
In Master of Magic the only 'Strategic' teleportation allowed was via the Very Rare Earth spell. At it was exactly the 'city gate' concept that is being described here. And not only was it a last tier spell, but unless you invested 10 out of 11 points directly in Nature Magic, You had increasing chances of not even being able to get that spell. This is something that is extremely lacking with the Elemental universe. Magic seems to be so accessible, and any h
How much mana does the Spell of Mastery cost to cast? And is it cast in a single turn?
Teleportation is broken, period. It was broken in WoM, to the extent that I'm shocked this spell even made it in. The player uses it better than the AI, it completely overrides normal movement once you have a significant mana income, and it makes distances nearly irrelevant (ignoring abuses with outpost borders entirely) At most, I would say a high level research that allows an expensive pair of gates between two cities to be constructed,
Hello! I've been having a lot of stability issues with the game so I'm having a hard time exploring some of the new mechanics and wanted to know if anybody could confirm/deny some of the things I've noticed. I was trying to find the spell research menu/book, and I couldn't find it. I could only open the spell book with what seemed spells I could cast. Is spell progression now only tied in to the Sovereigns level? What is the actual impact on selecting t
Fallen Enchantress IS a brand new game as far as how they are promoting it. It is NOT an expansion pack. So it really doesn't matter if they stole some code or not. I realize you are pissed because you want MP, I'm not even saying you don't have the right to be pissed either. But pulling some quote from a year and half ago, and combining it with some newer post does not actually make any arguments va
Part of the problem may be that last quoted area was from E:WoM and not E:FE
Captain Obvious to the rescue! Are you under the impression that FE is an entirely brand new game with no left over code? I mean have you tried the beta? And we all know the MP code is still partially there, since as Brad said, they have it 'internally' but turned it off because of no tactical battles. My question
There will be NO multiplayer While internally we have multiplayer, we’ve turned it off. The release game won’t have it either. The reason is that tactical battles would have to be rewritten to support it (MP code needs to be message based but the tactical battles all call directly to internal variables which makes it easier to have greater performance but it means no MP). We decided it would be better to have no MP than gimpy MP
Quoting Bellack, reply 69 I agree that it doesn't take any more time than a SP game. Do you know how long it takes me to play a SP game? Let's just say it's not measured in weeks, or days or hours. So I am not a good MP candidate. It appears that I may be in the majority demographic however. I think my assertion is true, you would want to be able to save
Multiplayer afficianados are divided into a number of groups. Most prominent are co-op players and e-sports type competition players. I will concede that co-op play is not so bad. If I do play multiplayer in a game, that's my style. So, in that way I sympathize. It would be nice to play with friends but not at the expense of a better game. In the spirit of compromise, down the road (talking 2 years here), if
Fewer than 1% of the WOM user base attempted multiplayer. I don't mean played a game.
