It would be fun to be able to share your world map with other factions, that way you could be able to see your allies empire without having to run around :). Or just to trade it for better relations? Cheers, V.

It would be nice if you were allowed to marry your children with any member of your court. As it stands, it seems that you may only marry them via diplomatic means. Only the sovereign can wed inside the faction. Yup, V.
Once your child is born, the sovereign should have the ability to decide which type of upbringing the child will receive. That way you could gear your child towards more of a fighter build, or mage, etc... Basically it would offer a template stat depending on what you are planing on doing. Some other people also mentioned it would be nice to be able to select the portrait :). If at all possible, bring up the designer would be even better! Maybe once the child reaches maturity? <p
Hello, When a caravan is running a trade route, it is still flagged as being idle. So when you use cycle through idle units you can go through ALL of your caravans. When playing large maps with more than 20 cities all of them with 2 caravans, it can make the button a little useless. I believe that one of the reasons they are appear as idle is that they remain as units on the map, and they only finish their moves at the end of the turn. Regards, V.
Hello, In my most recent game, I discovered that my rival faction and I had the same sovereign. This is rather peculiar and would be nice to be blocked if possible. Regards, V.
It's when you see posts like this that you know the game will be fine. :) Brad, quick get back to your wife before she sees you. Looking forward to see Elemental flower! Regards, V.
I haven't tried to get diplomatic victories, but I did notice that the AI has a tendancy to DOW on you out of the blue. I was in a 300+ turn game, and i finally explored the far western part of the map were i met the last of the 4 major factions in my game. We had "neutral" standing. So I keep exploring by boat (I wasn't in their influence or nothing), and after 3 or 4 turns, boom. I get a DOW from them. Thing is, they are extremely far, they are already at war with their neighboors.
Hello everyone, I was curious if there were perhaps plans in the future to make it so that terrain has an impact on city building? As I see it now, forest and mountains don't allow you to build buildings and that's it. There is no difference of making a city in the middle of a swamp or desert, then making one in the middle plains. Anybody who were in the beta know anything about this? If anything it would of been nice to make it so that maybe certain types of terrain g
Hey everyone, I noticed that my Sovereign can have a kid at age 21, and by age 22-23 my kid is 20 years old... uh. Is this as designed? Now if this is "normal" i can live with it, I was just curious. Thanks, V.
Thanks guys, I was feeling it was wrong too. I mean, it reminded me when I was 10 and tried my first few Civilization games... I didn't know you could set units to "Fortify" or "sleep" and so didn't have to cycle through them at EVERY turn... I didn't like having defensive units because of this lol. When my friend showed me the feature I almost let a tear slip out... ;) That being said, I also noticed this would apply to ships set to Guard or Fortify... :( I didn't check if it
I'm new here, but a lot- A LOT- of people have complained that this game is no Master of Magic. Example- sorry to pick on this in particular, but I've read a lot of similar sentiments since I got here: I dont know but for me I was sold on this game being a sequal for Masters of Magic, and that Stardock even went so far as to try and purchase the license for it. Of course that didnt pan through but it was still sold as the spiri
d) This is the part you might not like. You're going to have to eat short-term profitability on this, in order to help in the long-term. You'll need to be aggressive on discounting once you can. (I understand you can't right now) That said, the expansion. It needs to be a stand-alone game, with a bug-free, very generous demo out a month before release. Maybe even full game esque. The
Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask if it was normal that all 'active' caravans are cycled through when clicking on "cycle idle" button. It gets a little tedious with large maps. Almost renders the button useless as you have to sort though dozens of carvans... D: Thanks, V.
Hello everyone, I've been looking around and haven't been able to find a post which contains a detailed list of what will or will not be available in the MP games once 'unlocked'. I did read the sticked post by Frogboy, but he dosent' really go into the details. Anyone know of an old/new post that has any details about this? It would be nice to know so that there isn't any OTHER bad surprises. ;) Thanks, V.
I (and I think Brad) would be interested to know, how many extra sales *right now*, that is IMMEDIATELY , would happen if there was an MP setting for a tactical battle threshold like in single player in the Day 0 release.
None, as anybody who was hoping for MP had already pre-ordered when the bad news hit the press. Cheers, V.
First of all, I'd like to thank Frogboy (Brad) for sharing his opinions and concerns about the MP game mode for Elemental. I'm probably way too late to even get my post noticed by anybody at Stardock, but I had to speak out. So here goes. :) QUOTE FROM FROGBOY: There is one exception: Playing 2 people as part of a team vs. AI players is fairly fun. But playing against random players is just an exercise in frustration.
