It's possible, but why do you think they choose those? Thing is, you can't actually factor out player preference from skill. If only the best players use sedna, it is probably because she is quite awesome. The odd turnaround of this, is that it means that the 'best' players may also defend sedna, because she is their pet. (This of course applies to all of the high usage DG's.).

Stats such as these are actually MORE significant on average than they appear, not less. For example, due to premade teams being significantly more effective pugs, and the number of prem vs pug games, there is actually a strong mellowing agent there. That is, no matter what the Prem plays, they will likely win. All such games add to the noise of a report like this. If there are still spikey points in the 60% range, then remember it is getting past this noise already.

Well, I think as a level design it is probably Interesting(nose tap). I'm not sure if it would be fun to play on though, but would at least be an interesting arena to create and play around in. Sadly, the DG engine very likely can't support this: Dynamic Grunt paths sounds like a real pain. Dynamic pathing in general is going to be a trick. Inevitable bugs like Erebus batswarming to a location on a gear... which doesn't exist after he arrive.

Yawn? I'm sorry, but this isn't an MMO, or persistent world game where you are meant to give a smooth curve of awards out to everyone. Favor is meant to be little bits of extra award to people who did well in different ways. If you really feel you got gyped out of favor, play another game now and then, instead of complaining here, it doesn't take that long to accrue.

I think with that, and the fact it can be interrupted and such, makes it one of the better-designed ones. Also, is anyone up for running the numbers through the statistical equations to determine whether the variance in win percentage is significant? Well, I like the 'aura' items yes, but I think that your reasoning isn't true. Vlemish is a popular item for sure, but I think you can sometimes NOT get the helm for everyone for PRECISELY the reason you don't like it. Afterall, getting my own helm may not increase my MPS as much as I would think if a lanemate already has one. So you can put it off a bit longer, maybe get those boots early.

I think UB is in fact the strongest, both by the numbers, and by personal experience. He has the Strongest, most efficient stun in the game. Stunning a Demigod for 2 seconds, while ALSO doing damage to them and draining a bit of health is amazing. It has no casting time, and ticks 2 seconds off of the Cooldown of spit. It is the only instant cast stun in the game (Closest second is boulder roll) and makes him ideal for ganking. He has the best group abilit

Demo should allow for MP, but perhaps not let people level past 5 or 7 or something, and only include one or two maps. Should keep them wanting, without being too anemic.

So, after playing this for a while, I have changed it slightly. I now do: Fireball Fire Aura Save Fireball Frost Nova/Fire Aura Fire Nova and then the rest same as before. Basically, Deep freeze alone isn't often worth switching forms for, though frost nova is. Adding fire nova gives me the OPTION of a bit more damage if I need it. Mainly though it heals up the weakness this build has against

It is also why Robust regen potions are a lot more cost effective than a lot of people think! And yeah, DG's with a kill at hand who waste an unneeded in

Well, we can all argue personal opinion, but I think someone should at least note that the Queen has the lowest win percentage of any DG (Beast has the highest). So all things equal, that is a pretty decent indicator. My anecdotes with her generally involve her simply being unable to pull her weight in a game. She has no stopping power, ground spikes and spike wave are really not good enough abilities, especially against opponents with some armor on, and scale terribly.&nb

[quote who="cwsault" reply="20" id="2302327"] Quoting ItchyDustbin, reply 12Also ice will beat fire if he interrupts the fireballs most times, especially because it's fires only ranged damage. Not to mention that interrupting with Deep Freeze also puts a cooldown increase on it. In my experience a Fire TB can beat an Ice TB if Fire has Staff of Renewal and Ice doesn't, but that's only in a 1v1. In larger battles Ice abilities become much more

The problem with circle of flame is that the opponent gets to decide how it will effect them. If they can take the damage, they can decide to enter or stay in the circle, if they can't, they move away. And I think the mana boost for inspirational flame is actually moot in many cases. By that point you had to use whatever mana regen you used, and only at the very end of the game would you be able to seel perhaps one mana source to buy something else. It isn't like the inspi

Could we get this in English? Me and my mates would like to give this a try, just to play against some better players for once :). Also, times listed are sans time zone, when you say 20:00, do you mean GST? PST? What?

Generally if I get blade of the Serpent, I do not get any mana extenders except Unbreakable boots. Maybe right near the end I'll get a cloak of flame to hammer home the victory, but that's about it.

That first 10 minutes is painful to watch. Pure ooze beast vs no slam rook. At least you got owned when he got boulder roll, as was expected. I wonder, do advocates of pure ooze all have a friend who plays sedna for them? Lastly... where are Sedna's MONKS??? Gah!

You raise interesting points about permafrost vs Fire Aura, I will look into your build with a few play tests and come back with more input. To me it is a pain to switch into frost to get a interupt or stun off (even though it's always worth it) and loose the aura you have in the other tree. Your build will also have a bad lull after level 10 (which many TB builds actually expe

I've been tinkering around with some ideas recently, trying to figure out if they work. I was actually expecting total failure here, and that is what I started with. My first ideas were to play a silly 'fireball' build for TB, just to see if it could go somewhere: This build is rank 4 fireball, rank 3 Fire Aura, and 3 points in Enhanced Attributes. As expected, it wasn't very good. Why? As much as a fireball based kiting strategy was somewhat effective (fire aura 3

Could we just make special abilities a stack, and direct abilities refresh it? So if you give someone an attack command, and then tell them to fireball, they push the fireball on the stack, then pop it after it is cast, and go back to attacking. Then if you give a direct command, like 'move over there' it whipes the stack and puts that as the new default behavior. Would make the game a lot easier to control. Just a quick thought.

Actually, I have other info on dhds, which is evident in his profile, that is his Loss to disconnect ratio. He currently has 105 losses, and 101 disconnects. That's right, he almost never finishes a game unless he is obviously winning. If at all possible do not play with this guy, since he will almost always be the first to drop.
