Would you rather we don't post @ all?
Well no. I wouldn't want that either. I guess my index finger won't cramp up too much scrolling past the game threads. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
But to go back to the trying issue, I chose to buy Sins because it had what I call a 'good demo' and here is what I mean by that. The demo really only restricted playing time, but not much else. If I remember correctly in the demo, while you could only play as one side, the evil TEC, you had access to all their upgrades and ships. That is what I want to see in a demo.
I'd have to agree with this. All the web articles I read about DRM used Sins as the example of a great

From the AC2 page "UBISOFT MAY CANCEL ACCESS TO ONLINE FEATURES UPON A 30-DAY PRIOR NOTICE PUBLISHED AT http://assassinscreed.com" Good god almighty! And they have the gall to charge $60 USD for this?!?! Maybe we should just turn back the hands of time and require quarters to play the damn game. KMA Ubisoft. You are now banned from my home.

I can see where MP would not want that. However I'm in the midst of trying to create an "Epic" single player map with the Map Designer. I want to make the game long. I'd like the AI(s) to have to work a little before it decided to attack me. Of course I'll try a smaller map first to see if I like it or not.
I just installed it and now my game doesn't work! Any one else have this problem???
This patch didn't invalidate my saves. However when I loaded an old save it mini dumped right away. So I delete my old saves.

I've had Sins for over a year and I'm only now trying this? [e digicons]:X[/e] In the Map Designer you can adjust the Neutral Colony slider back and forth on planets. In the red zone you will get your regular neutral colonies. They will just have your average defenses like a few frigates. Go ahead and slide that sucker over to the green and those neutral colonies will be dug in like little ticks and have 4 or 5 gauss guns, hangers with about 4 squads, and about 50% more frigates.

And here is the BINGO quote! "We've all seen again and again that you can't stop the piracy scene from cracking your game and distributing it, free of DRM. But you can stop the people who love your games from downloading it, and you do that by making the retail experience better - not worse ." Ubisoft? Can I introduce you to Stardock? Sure you let them distribute your games but you really need to talk to them about the mistake you're about to make.
Ubisoft might as well have had you have to come to their office to have to play it. At least then you could slap the shit out of the management everytime the server hiccuped.
Ha! That would be awesome. [Slap] I can dream [slap] The other problem I see is wireless connectivity. Most of the time it's fine and reconnects. Now imagine that happens during your game, before you save. Oops! Bad bad bad idea. This is worse than TAGES. When will the DRM insanity
Because by definition, a 32-bit Windows program only sees 2GB. Period.
Question. If you have 2GB of RAM then what would be a good setting for the pagefile size? I know people could go 'round and 'round about this answer but what would you recommend Frogboy?
