And yup, minion health went down a bit.
Thank God. Didnt want a repeat of Oaks Spirits...everywhere. These updates keep getting better and better :P
Foul Grasp is unaffected by stun immunity, and it will not trigger stun immunity. Interrupts are unaffected.
Interesting. I wonder if the new combo will be UB + TB or UB + Rook....We'll wait to see. Thanks for answer Vundar :)

Could not have asked for more. Thats a very good set of updates you have there. Very pleased stun immunity and slowdown cap made it into the day0 patch. Teleport animation is also a really great extra. You fixed the Rook, Ice TB and nerfed/buffed all the other Demigods accordingly. To all those people out there who said that the Devs dont listen to us/havent put our ideas into the game, read this! Great job guys, its much appreciated!

You've hit it right on the head actually WickedDemiurge. There have been quite a few threads and posts and those two suggestions. Put their damage up high so they are actually dangerous and can hurt other DG's, but at the same time dont give them 1k hp so killing them seems pointless (as it takes too long and by the time they are dead they just re-summon them). However both points have to be used, not just one of them. There were Oak Spirits before which v.high damage but also had v.high hp,

Ah yea ive seen it with Sedna too a few times. Its not really a bug though, because the animations never completely finish - just go 99% of the way so it looks like they have done it completely, but actually we didnt see that 1%. Upgarding your ability shouldnt interupt you anyway, your skill should just finish activating and have the same effect before you upgraded. Like I dont think this would happen if Fire TB tried to shoot a fireball, as he only shoots once the animation

Yup whenever you upgrade an ability and you are mid-way completely it, it will stop. I never actually had the animation completely finish if I upgraded mid-use, it usually just gets a "interupt" type effect. If you are only using the Rook as your example here its more of a Rook bug then an ability one. If you cancel Rooks Hammer Slam late enough you can get the animation to completely (or 99%) finish (and so you actually see his hammer hit the ground and make the sound effects etc
Designing rank systems to reward any game you complete, even if you lose, but also rewarding winning more, tends to make that much less likely. An example of which would be Call of Duty 4, which you earn experience points for playing at the end of a round, even if you lose. Everyone eventually gets to the top ranks, but winners get there faster, so there is an incentive to do well. It also has some challenges, like unlocking the golden skins for various guns, which are tougher than wou
As long as Sim Speed never is below 0 it doesn't affect anyone so having something enforced at simspeed 5 (which means the game could run at about 3x the normal speed) is nonsense.
The thing is I often have a simspeed of 10. However, when I was running another big app at the same time my game started to stutter and slow down - it wasnt really playable. So I checked my sim speed expecting it to be below 0 (as it was running below normal speed clearly), but it was actully ju
1) A dissconnect is a loss, in ranked games you are required to have a good connection and enough time to play, bad connection people will have to get their connection improved or accept the losses, that is in no way unfair in competative internet games. Other games use this system and people just learn to live with it.
Agreed. However a seperate stat that also shows the amount of D/C's (its just for show, doesnt deduct points or anything as they already have got a l

A Rook Rival would be awesome. Something that looks a lot darker then the Rook so there could be a whole Rook vs Rook Rival thing :P
so much demigod coverage on the sins forum...and nothing from the sins devs...
This is the Demigod forums :P http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345365 The idea of not showing someones name until after 3 minutes is pretty interesting. Its never been done before and could make the first 3 mins of the match quite exciting (trying to figure out if ur opponent is good or bad).

Nice idea Frogboy, sounds like that could be awesome...reminds me of some MMORPG "wars" that occur. What about the "original" tournaments if you know what I mean. I mean, short-term ones like Single knockout, double knockout, round robin etc. But yea I guess it depends on how well it does...hopefully it will do great :D

The thing is you can play Hammer Slam, Stun AND Tower Rook. Just need to make sure you manage your mana properly....There are a few favour items that can help him do the tower build with no mana problems at all.
I don't think we're going to be able to make a good determination about which Demigods are overpowered until we really figure out how the generals are going to be fixed. I imagine that fixed generals could change the way people play a lot.
What fix are you exactly talking about? lol :P
