I will try this now and post back if it works :P I thought this too but I noticed if you have like 4 slots open, you will maybe see 6 trying to connect. I dont know if its the same if only one is open. I agree 2v2's are very easy to get going. I can get one up in under 2 minutes with literally no problems everytime.

Have you updated your game with the latest patch (came out 30 mins or so ago). If you have and its still not working let all the whole intro video play and wait for literally a minute or more and it should go to menu.

New update just came out with new server. Search for update in Impulse. If it doesnt show up refresh/re-loing/re-start it up or just wait a few mins.

Artificats are just really expensive items that you can buy from the artifact shop. What your thinking of are Favour Items. After each game you are awarded with Favour Points, which can be used to purchase a Favour Item at the start of each game. Favour Points are persistent (carry over to the next game) and as are Favour Items (if you purchase one you will stay have it bought next game).

The updated from beta pretty much balanced the generals and assasins. You just need to give it some more practice and you will see. If anthing, generals are better now :P
