Stardock staff enter the office at about 9:00 EDT. That means keys are likely to be distrubted at around 9-12 EDT (thats in about 2-5 hours or so)

How else are you meant to update a game?
I think they MIGHT be planning to add a setting where the background eyecandy in maps can be rendered to lower graphics.
Contact with the same question to be safe.
Countdown is for "official" release date. All pre-orders will be able to download today (a day early) at about roughly 9-12 EDT im guessing.
managed to get him to level 30
Level cap is 20 :D :D
Well online is currently "half-working". You can pantheon/skirmish perfectly fine but Custom Games are pretty hard to join/get started. But im not sure if the "Custom Game Patch" will be released today or tomorrow.
Oh and I have a question: How does Elo work with teams? If I have a team of players that all have a rating of 1100 and I beat a team of players that all have a rating of 900 how is it worked out? Does each time have their average Elo rating calculated and then that is used to calculate the amount of points gained/lost or is it a lot more complex then that?
The logic only "fails" because it's faulty logic. That's like showing someone the equation "2 + 2 = cow" and saying "Clearly, mathematics is useless for figuring out the area of a circle." Just because some people are bad at math doesn't mean math itself is faulty.
For the time being ill put aside the Ontoligcal Argument - it was just one example I thought would be valid to bring up and shows the possible flaws in logic. I dont have time to quote all of makeshi
Yea the Demigod retail version has been put up on some illegal sites, I just searched it and found a full Demigod version avalaible for download. However its singleplayer only which is missing out on 90% of the experience. If anything they will download Demigod, love it, want to play online, and so buy it :D
Yup. Just put the Demigod folder on a CD or something and put it on all the computers that you want to lan with. You dont have to actually log in online so it doesnt matter if you all have the same key. I think they purposely allowed it to be easily playable with only one cd (or copy w/e) on Lan.
Barmintar: Demigod is avalaible in-stores (only in America) on Tuesday (tomorrow) ALL Pre-orders will be avalaible via digital download today in about 5hoursish. If you dont live in America, the release date is something like 31st of May in stores so its better off to order directly from Impulse for digital download.
From my 2 days of playing Lord Erebus (vampire guy) he is now one of the best Demigods - although its a bit early to really tell. He did suck in the beta though, but they buffed him a lot in the retail version.
http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/games/player/13443/ If you look at my Custom Game ranking and list, it says I just won 2 games of slaughter on cataract with 6 players - Both these games were actaully done in Skirmish mode. And with further testing I have seen all my Skirmish games turn up as Custom Matches.
Toski, he said " Yeah , we don't typically tell about how many orders we had." He is saying yes to the fact they dont typically tell how many orders they had. At least thats how i saw it.
Agreed with Cerulean.
For what it's worth, I read the ontological argument, or at least this thread's phrasing of it, as a logical proof that you can't prove that God exists since it (supposedly) uses logic to prove that he in fact does , and as an extension of that, that in some things logic need not apply for the job-which I understood to be the original intent of DalzK's post.
Bingo. My point of the Ontological Argument is that it uses only Logic. And my point was
3) "Therefore God must exist" - this is the logical fallacy, the "base assertion" fallacy I believe it's called. The only thing you can actually prove with the above two things would be something like "Therefore, the definition of God would include him actually existing." The only reason you'd conclude that he ACTUALLY exists is if you assumed that your definition at the beginning was describing something that actually exists, and that's begging the question. For exam
SO WERE YOU HAPPY OR NOT? Way to keep us hanging kyro...lol
Banned for being a "pornstar_111" (LOLMAO)
Coelcanth, its called the Ontological Arugment btw ;)
Good point. Most games however have Custom Game rankings and Skirmish rankings under the same thing. With the Elo system its very hard to abuse the system to get a decent amount of points on the ladder and a lot less effecient then just playing people normally.
If you don't see the gaping holes in that 'logic', then I don't know what to say...
Please point out the gaps. Philosophers have been trying for hundreds of years and failed.
Good luck with the clan unskill :) I'll keep an eye on this clan too
Interesting topic tbh. First of all,
By this same logic we can assume that God was created by a higher being
Thats a contradiction. The definition of God is the perfect "being". You cant have something that is more than perfect. God is the highest "being", anything higher then him is God. And to the people who dont believe in God, you worked this out by logic? I think l
