Oh and Custom Game Rankings and Skirmish should be under one ranking, imo. Its pretty annoying to have your stats split because you played some in Skirmish, then some in Custom Game, when at the end of the day they are basically the same mode but Skirmish is auto'ed.

Age of Empire 2: Age of Kings came out with one....10 years old. And BlackJack666 its a very valid point. However, I propose that this Replay System doesn't allow you to view other peoples items and what they bought, which is really the only thing people can "copy". The rest is down to experience/skill, which is what you cant copy.

My first wow:
I think just loading up beta 1 for the first time and seeing Cataract (or Waterfall as it was called back then) from the skies was the first wow-moment I had
Exactly the Same. My Second wow: Seeing The Rook after Oak places his shield on him. Metal Rook looked cool :) My Third wow: Realising there was no replay system with retail version lol

First of all, I am pretty dissapointed that Demigod hasnt come with a proper Replay System. There is really no excuse to not have one on the day of release. Games that are 10 years old came with replay systems, I dont see why Demigod shouldnt. The annoying thing is that replays are basically already in. After each game, your "LastGame.DGREPLAY File" will save, and if you want to keep it you can just rename it and next time you have a game it will save as "LastGame.DGREPLAY File".<b

Just for everyone saying it comes out in a "few days". If you pre-ordered, you are getting the game TOMOROW. That ONE day. And like Zubaz said, your actually getting the game one day earlier then you were meant to. Does it really hurt you so much that someone else got to play before you?

Demigod comes out in one day for all those people that pre-order. If you cant wait one day on Easter then you have some serious issues. I fail to see the point of the OP. What are you trying to say? That you should get the game from Gamestop? Fine. Go ahead. It just means the game that your buying isnt going to be as good as it could be in the future, so its up to you :)

Stardock need to update Demigod because they need to uphold their reputation. If they get bad reputation then they dont get as good sales, which mean they lose money. So at the end of the day, they need to update Demigod for as long as possible if they want to make good money. Not just that the better Demigod gets with updates, the more people will buy it as word of mouth spreads it. Look at Blizzard (very freaking rich), they are still constantly updating WC3 and SC after 10 years

Stardock and their good deeds seem to be paying off now. Suprised at how many people are standing by their pre-orders and not fussing over the pre-order "delay".
I called gamestop to reserve my copy of Demigod, because since easter is this weekend then that means that Ill be very busy. So I called to reserve it and they told me that its already out, so I figured okay well then they probably changed the release date, and I thought I get to play online today (friday) and
You are right. Business is business emotions and grudges can't play into it, but if GS's board of directors got a slight pay decrease due to a law suit you shal see the grudge take off. But unfortunately is this a risk SD is willing to take?
Dont worry no one will get sued enough that GS shall have a grudge take off. And yes its a risk SD are willing to take, but the risk is literally non-existance. By not selling Stardock products because of the lawsuit they will just loo
"GS won't do it anymore" HA! Unless they are contractually bound, and I have yet to hear of a single case of a game company suing a distributor because of the release date. To make things worse SD will lose more money by not having GS distribute for them then a few canceled pre-orders. Where is the gain? Now lets say GS, and EBGames do it, and SD sues, the two biggest distributors won't sell your game anymore? Where do you make money?
Even if GS gets sued they will still s

If the game did have a big red sticker saying do not sell till the 14th and they asked earlier if they could sell before release date and they denied - then thats illegal, which means there is no reason at all why Stardock cannot sue Gamestop, right? (I am not very good at knowing when you can sue successfully and you cant).
