I strongly disagree that Customs should not be ranked. Its the most easily played atm. Skirmish is only 3v3 and [b]it includes a.i[/b]. Anything that includes bashable, easy free kils a.i should not count as ranked. For Custom, I think there should be an option to make the game ranked or not - I dont know how easy that is to implement though. The community is great if you ask me. The forums/pre-game chat is all sensible and not full with little 14 year rage kids. Ingame however - yea chatting can get flamish if you guys are getting raped, but hey thats the internet for you. I admit when im with really bad players and they start feeding the enemy I can get a bit angry...but im working on it lol.
At higher levels of play you'll realise games can turn around quite frequently, unless you've completel screwed yourself over, in which case you deserve to low.

QoT imo is the best defensive. Very good tank with Bramble + mulch can make very unkillable - Ground spikes are good for taking out reinforcements but thats up to you :)

I have never had this problem. If they are camping at crytsals then you have to updrade your reinforcements to giants. Since you should be way ahead. Also try and upgrade their health/armour. The citadel should be down in no time (maybe 5-10 minutes if your slow). Also, try to capture lock their portals which can hurt them quite a bit.
A lot of reviews for the game (if not all) have stated that one of the negative points of the game is balance. Could someone please tell me the imba's of this game? How can they say the game has balance issues if they have played the game for about 3 days? I was in the beta for 6 months or so and I can glady so the balance for demigod is awesome (for a game just released). Most games are 10x worst balanced then Demigod on release...

What the above said - experience is the most useful. However sticking with Assasin type DG isnt really going to make a different, generals and assasins are both fairly balanced. If your looking for some good guides or small tips I would suggest looking here . All the tip of the weeks and guides should cover most of the ground.
