I figure this thread is as good as any, for a skin customization question. I used to know my way around Skin Studio. I even made a few Windowblind skins, that got approved here and got a bit over 80,000 downloads combined. The problem is that this was all eight years ago, and now I am an old fart who's memory as well as his eyes are shot. As much as I like some of the darker skins, I have found that I really need to set the background of Windows Explorer to white.

Is this "requirement", something that was introduced with Vista or Windows 7? I think that the Impulse file management system allowed relocation on Windows XP. Not that it solves my problem, I was just curious. With the growing popularity of the smaller SSD drives as people's boot drive, I guess the only hope is that some programming whiz kid comes up with a work around. okay all of you programming wizards, the gauntlet has been thrown down.

Wow! seven months later, and I'm having the same problem. I am using the GameStop program that is very much like Impulse. It shows my Subscription as expired 12/18/2011, even though I paid for another year a few days before expiration. I can get to the HTML download page, where you get each program separately. importing skins to windowblinds 7 in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

After upgrading to Windows 7, 64bit on a formatted drive, I installed Windowblinds on my living room computer. On a thumb drive, I copied all of my cursors, themes, icons and windowblinds from the office computer. After trying CC cleaner and Regzooka (a commercial package I had), I decided to buy another registry cleaner that was officially supported by Microsoft. I don't know how to do a poll on this board, if it is even possible, but some feedback might do the trick. We all love the Stardock products and how they allowed us to extend the graphic capabilities of Windows XP. Constantly working in background in ObjectBar WinCustomize Forums

I made a post in another section about CursorXP going into the "working in background" animation any time I mouse over anything in the Object Bar. I run a dual monitor system with object bar on the secondary monitor with no problems like you describe. My issue is that the mouse (cursor XP Pro) goes into a working in the background animation every time I mouse over something on the object bar. Even hours after booting the computer.
