Uhh.. you don't get 4 upgrade of phase missiles in 1vs1. That total goes against the point you where making.

What?.. That's wrong. JAvs are better supply-for-supply than assailants.
colony frigate for tec and advent have an ability to capture them for free. vasari's scout has the same ability, though it takes 50% more antimatter.
Caps are mostly just bad because lrms eat them so easy. :/
Or Jesus' third cu---.. And direct2drive is worse than steam i think. :/
Phase stabs dont help trade i'mc ertain. Trade is a set income/sec you can view by hovernig over your credits. (Isn't this explained in tutorial?) IT's both from more, and distance. All trade ports get the same amount based on the longest possible path between two of them (measured in jumps)
Demigods need to be able to get over 9000 health at least, and some be able to do over 9000 damage. But not in all cases, or else it's nothing special. :)
HM beat me to it.. yeah do what he said =] You should of gotten a confirmation email form stardock. What might of happened is you typed in the wrong email address though. :/
no... I was being sarcastic. :| *sigh* Nevermind.
Thanks for the PM.
No. You're wrong. Compare them to a siege cap.
Fleet size needs to be Normal, IMO. Build rate could be normal as well.. but Fast is fine. Maelstrom is a good 3v3 map. Razor's Edge should be in the 2v2 list not just 3v3. (It's only 20 planets, 2 lanes, small enough for 2v2 definitely, and how it plays as 2v2 can be very interesting.) And I think fire/ice is an interesting 2v2 map.. but maybe I'm alone on that one. For Maelstrom and Razor's Edge 2v2 I'm sure those should be up there.
Ha
Bombers are about 3x better if you micro them, but still suck when made 3x better. :|
Winning clan gets Demigod beta access early, long before the summer pre-order beta maybe? ;p
Yeah when games are multiplayer oriented you just check cd key when they connect online. 2 other people are online with it? Ban the key. Or whatever like hat that they generally do. That is anti-piracy, but it doesn't hurt the customer that bought the game. Single player games are much easier to pirate.
The Novalith can be good in really really long and big games, especially multistar. While it says it hits within the soalr system, actually you can hit planets at another star it just takes about an hour to reach there. :) So in a game that's 3+ hours long, you could actually build some at the 2 hour mark and be bombing away.
Hey, look on the bright side. Its not a deliverance engine!
The Deliverance Engine is the best one.. It's the only one
If the shield lowered the effect of ALL superweapons it would be pretty damn good to use for that.
This is a better idea I think.. I'm not sure. Yeah the shield lowers bombing damage too, but the thing is if someones hitting your planet hard and bombing it LATE GAME (you aren't getting shield up early) then they've probably decimated your fleet first. If not, you could just have a culture there so they don't cap it. Maybe it's useful on huge mul
Right.. Siege needs double damaged. That's something different. Why do the techs have to suck against the PROPER siege caps that damage planets like things should, because Siege Frigs are completely worth it and only a newbie would build them? But what he said is too much. I think population dropping slower is better.
There is a real difference between these weapons:It is the speed of the projectiles.Missles take longer to hit their targets. This matters in regards to focus fire, so be careful not to "overkill" when using missle type weapons. Other than that.. the specifics of the weapon are not important, it's only the damage type OF THE SHIP that matters as Annatar11 shows. That's a very good point - I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet. Missile's are a bit more effort to micro
Unt
Malice is countered by AM burn, ability disables, etc. It's really good though, yeah. It's why in that game against him I went Radiance. I guessed he'd go Mothership. If I was wrong, and he went Radiance, well it'd be bad for me to have Mothership. Radiance has a strong AM burning ability.
The random maps ARE map generator made basically.. You can make something exactly the same with it. Fearzone, you need to adjust the max orbit radius and blah blah.. play around with the sliders, you'll figure it out. You can make the starts practically touching the sun.
I'm liking it except after so many games it's becoming clear what strategies are dominant and making it bland. :( I'm glad it's here and 1.03 is gone though. I just hope 1.1 isn't far off and balances the game even better.
Impulse will be way better, especially if it has mod management and frequent tournaments for a variety of games(not just stardock ones, but publishers that have their games on Impulse) where you win stuff. =] After all, if someone wins a $10 mini expansion, how much money does that really cost Stardock? And if someone wins a stardock game they don't have, they might buy mini expansions for it, etc. :D But steam has ever felt "intrusive" to me. It uses no cpu, a
Use the map generator if you want random small ones.. It's really really really really easy. You can make it so you start with 2-3 planets and have like a string of roids between you.
