Spectacular! If I am assigning names correctly, I can envision a "classic" match-up between teams: The Oak and The Rook versus The TorchBearer and The Vampire Lord. They look like they complement each other.

Torch Bearer Simul-Move On Mine I clicked on a destination on the terrain and then on an enemy Demigod or minion (can`t recall which) to override my move command and commence attacking. Instead of stopping and attacking, my Torch Bearer slid forward on to his move destination, attacking with regular fireballs as he went. I regret I do not know what circumstances cause this behaviour. Sorry! [EDIT] To be clear, the
Yes, it does run more smoothly now.
Norton`s newest Ghost software package is one of the most bloated and weavelling (! i.e. burrowing, embedding) bits of code I have seen. This is Norton`s standard, so I wouldn`t be hopeful about other packages they produce. Ghost served its purpose and is now exorcised & banished to the box, away from my system... That simply for a tool that copies drive data bit for bit.
Heh, My Rook had the merest sliver of health and was running away... one slash from the singular (!) pursuing angel was all it took. Angered me greatly. The actual moment of attack by those flying units could be slightly more robust animation-wise, perhaps. As it is now, the angel/harpy attacks might be slightly too subtle (just a better animation, or a sword slash sound maybe, not anything flashy).
I think you're placing the wrong emphasis on what stuns do. They aren't there to completely remove the stunned unit from battle, as if they had been walled off in some inaccesible alternate dimension (except for taking damage); they simply are a little dazed, and can't take any action. Therefore, all active abilities, such as attacking, moving, casting spells or using items are disabled. At the same time, the Demigod's very pres
Yep, they do. I`ve been slain by one.
The expansion was great too by the way...
I personally would prefer my real name... the best option however would likely be to use both real names and forum handles.
(see SubTitle)... the original developers, Paul Reiche III and Fred Ford? I thought they bought back the rights to their property for future plans. I could be wrong, but that was the last I had heard about it. I didn`t think Atari was in control.
It would be wonderful if those who have their ideas utilized in Demigod could be listed under a "Contributions" or better (according to scope and import) field in the game manual at time of release. T`would be very cool.
Item Absence (Inventory) On Atlantis with the Torch Bearer I had already purchased Indra`s Battleguard, Wyrmskin Handguards, Assassin`s Footguards, and a Cloak Of Elfinkind. I purchased the Stormbringer item from the artifact shop and charged into battle near the enemy Citadel, but the Stormbringer didn`t appear in my inventory until after I had respawned from defeat.
Replay Exports Before I get to that, I just wish to say how thoroughly rewarding it is to behold an "Awards" screen that actually contains appellations of some merit & meaning - I could actually clearly recall how the various participants garnered their titles. And giving bonus 'accomplishment points' is the appropriate icing on this part of the cake, giving some tangible meaning to such. Yeehah. Anyway... I would very much
Well this even happens with unit limit at max.
I thought the maximum unit limit *wwas* 50...
Does this perhaps get limited by a finite number of entities, as set in the game setup? I think four groups of hammerers and archers at once, plus Demigods, might reach the 50 unit limit pretty quickly, thus precluding an additional spawn. 50 might be too low for a game with a War Idol and 6 Gates (80 would be good for that).
I like that idea - gold for buildings instead of xp.
Yes, unlike Steam Impulse is not compulsory in the background - it merely properly sets up your program, then disappears if you so desire (which I desire... nothing against Impulse btw). Steam deprives me of independence from foreign servers when I wish to play on my own. Winblows LIVE is buggy as Hell and more importantly just a gateway by which MS can attempt to monopolize online entertainment (via controls). Impulse`s facility to provide us with updates and a matchmaking service is
Got ya. I still say things need to be logical though - it`d be like having a fire attack do less damage to a Cardbard Golem... developers ought to endeavour to have things make sense if they can!
http://pc.ign.com/articles/929/929946p1.html More info on Majesty 2, including mention of Fear Flags, which sounds good - they ward off lower level heroes within a certain range. Should introduce some excellent scenario combinations; this is the sort of mechanical design work a sequel needs.
Healing while standing still - that could use some animations to support the activity, yet it is a reasonable enough process that we can logically assume *without healing animations* that the Demigod is recuperating. Ditto for being unable to capture flag points whilst immobilized. As for the nature of flag capture, I fail to see anything nonsensical or conflicting about the concept of requiring an *active* Demigod proximal to a flag capture point in order to get it. I just don`t see it. Agre
Sounds great .
Demigods being in the capture radius but not capturing doesn't make much more sense, stun or no. It's also a really minor issue if one at all.
I don`t follow you. If a Demigod is stunned or incapacitated, he/she/it ought not be able to influence the world for the duration they are so. An exception being the Rook`s shoulder archers (if they are not frozen). Sounds straightforward.
With the exception of missing proximal pursuit/interception A.I., the newest 1C Unclean Beast is great - excellent balance on him now. Good job! Good jiggering around with the Torch Bearer as well. The Rook feels very good, excepting (in my opinion) the early Raise Tower capability. I could live with that as is though.
Ehhh... they should strive to be logical. If people unknowledgeable about Demigod try the game, the game will come off as unintuitive if mechanisms of play don`t always make sense.
Well, they`re frozen/inert... they ought not be able to do so in such a state. Everything else regarding their activities is suspended for such durations.
