Agreed completely & utterly.

The Borg. Any and all Borg-like entities could be considered cliched. This thought has occurred to me often as I ponder any future to the Sins universe. What could so handily defeat the bulk of the Vasari Empire fleet, such that it also remains mysterious and unidentified? Let us assume this phenomena will make an appearance in a future Sins game. The most playable option is to incarnate the phenomena as a faction. The most science-fictiony explanation is some
Tedhnically, despite the fact we are playing both the original and the expansion, I don`t believe Sins Of A Solar Empire is finished yet. Until the final expansion comes out, I don`t consider the game to be complete. With each expansion focussing on and expounding upon a core aspect of the game, I see Sins as a playable work in progress. That in mind, I find that grand strategic contests might be somewhat rare online. That is to say, based upon what I read and have gathered, I
Minions work fine for me. Won many a game because of them. As for regular Creeps not threatening fortifications... they`re not supposed to on their own. Not until you at least get Angels then especially Catapultasauri (and colossal Giants).
I can see the resemblance.
My system just hangs with a player list. Sometimes a player or two drops out, occassionally I ALT-TAB to find a "fatal error" message window. I don`t believe I can recall playing a game of Demigod Pantheon with more than a single other human player, btw.
This would seem to be necessary in an era of Steam Friend games... I think its in the works, from what I`ve read and seen.
Heh heh - funny stuff.
With initially 6 players listed during the NAT traversal process for Pantheon play Demigod froze. One player dropped out. Demigod seemed locked in the NAT sequence, with nothing further happening (the progress animation was playing, but nothing further occurred). I finally CTRL-ALT-DEL`d and saw a FATAL ERROR window in the taskbar next to the normal Demigod window. All it said was "FATAL ERROR Demigod" followed by the version number of Demigod. This has actually occurred previous

Good luck. I maintain Regulus needs to be made more fragile for his innate gunnery abilities. I have grown to despise playing against this particular character.
Maybe some kind of Totem from one of the remaining Gods in the pantheon that wishes to really put participants to the test. When you see it, Abandon All Phasing Yee Who Enter Here...
On the lava map whose name continually escapes me, the enemy Light side has all Minion/Creep types flowing from their gates. A Rook has initiated a Hammer Slam on my Erebus, and I know its going to kill me. Behind him are a couple of giants. The game paused for a good 7 full seconds before resuming with my death.
Hmmm. Successive games and this was not happening. A number of Favour Point inconsistencies, which others have touched on (disappearing points, Items that became "unpurchased") but no incidence of this particular bug. Not sure how to duplicate it.
Pursuant to the elimination of Parasite Egg ... If Idol Minions are so useless, then why are opponents who face them compelled so consistently to purchase the Parasite Egg? ANSWER: Because they are not useless. They are quite useful, actually. ADDENDUM: Unless you confront a player with (drum roll) Parasite Egg.
I would rather the player *not* control such mechanics - I think these are best left to the map, as terrain features that must be contended with. Not therefore dependant upon the Gold supply, and therefore victory momentum. The best variant (and simplest) of this feature would probably be a radius that cancels teleportation completely: neither teleportation into nor teleportation out of its radius is possible.
Favour Item Limit *Invisibility* You can purchase a maximum of 3 Favour Items. Having done so, I selected the one I wanted to equip for my Demigod in that particular match. The Item refused to appear in my Favour Item slot. I don`t believe I was benefitting from the Favour Item for the duration it did not appear. I am not sure what happens to make it appear, but eventually the Favour Item does show up. After a teleportat
Teleport Null Points Parts of the terrain that exert a radius within which teleportation does not function. Some variants: -players cannot teleport into an area under the radial influence of such a point -players cannot teleport out of an area under the influence of such a point Abilities that are not pure teleportation i.e. Erebus` Bat Swarm remain unaffected. They are not pure en

Eliminate Parasite Egg, improve/refine the aforementioned A.I. problems for Idol Minions. Do this first and then lets see how Generals that are Minion-centric flow. Giving Generals Monetary boosts would simply allow players to purchase regular Items more quickly. Innociv is correct. Besides, then you no longer have every Demigod starting out on an even/fair playing field; you`d have to potentially introduce all sorts of governing & restricting rules about expenditures to prev
Bear in mind the original comment was March 12th. The stutters and freezes were timed whenever a new game event or asset occurred i.e. when you summoned your first Idol Minion unit, or when you first utilized an ability that produces unique graphics/sounds. At this point in time such has diminished, to the extent that it is not noticeable enough (by me at least) to be a bother. Connections in Pantheon play and 'Demigod proximity paralysis' seem to be more relevant/prevalent conce
I`m thoroughly enjoying what I`m playing in the Beta, but I wouldn`t despair if you`d like to try it out. I suspect it won`t be much longer before Demigod is completed and becomes available retail - the game has come together really well.
[quote who="Fred_Bonaparte" reply="21" id="2104573"]Death: I dont see why you cant do a thing while dead, you have to be at least able to see and modify your skilltree while dead. There is no point in punishing the player during this time. Dying is always frustrating but in demigod that sentiment is increased by the fact that you have to wait all that time. The screen effect that appears while you are dead is nice, but you should be able to have a better view of the battlefield, this way you
This idea isn`t completely bot-centric though.
