(That is worms not wurms.) The proper spelling is DOW:WA or DOWWA or just WA. Not WA wa. *cough*grammernazi*cough* I missed the S in "WA wa S at any rate, i hope the terrans get rid of the annoying add-ons. I really didn't like those.

I am allready aware. *turns to TGE* You summoned me, my master? Either you were very busy or away on a "mission". You are more than one week late. As Dark Jedi is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precicely when he means to. <
It just looks pretty, but it just looks the same to me. Well, they're giving the fans what they want [quote]Relic i think will utterly eviscerate blizzard though[quote] Of course, DOW2 has been a rumour since WA wa released...
Every game i've seen so far, had a handicapping function. Usually it slowed buildtime. I asume Sins will have the same.
are we talking about pluto or uranas? Can we please NOT talk about multianna's anus...
I am allready aware. *turns to TGE* You summoned me, my master?
It's a substantial update since many of the gameplay elements will be present. It will continue to be TEC only, however. So, will we learn the use of that mysterious orange button? Ps. I'm back
maybe some kind of possibility to generate money from the star..just pitching ideas.
but this time I noticed Folding@Home was still running Most games don't like folding@home. The game just minizes again as soon as you open it up. Still, the manuals always say that you "need to close all programs running in the background" for best effect
Rumours have been buzzing around for over a year, when blizzard anounced that they were not working on another MMO, I had the feeling SC2 was coming. And now the day of the anouncement is here. It comes out 11/20/07 where does this info come from? The official site says they're not saying anything about a date yet. I applaud them on their manipulation and smart-use of that nasty hacking community to get
fully connected maps + invisible lanes = open maps.
60 planets, 2 stars, no artifacts, flagships on, pirates on. me and 2 AI on team 1, 5 AI's on team two. My first wave of colonisation is usually destroyed on first contact with the enemy, but they'll have taken at least a couple of worlds, which provide me with plenty of resources for a bigger fleet. Then I usually fortify several strongpoints, while my fleet focusses on wiping the enemies of another piece of solar system. I've noticed however, that when AI's who are hostil
I'm favor of this method, as it prevents the rapid bypassing of defensive planets. What I used to do was jump in a fleet, send 2 caps to kill the inhibitor and the fleet can keep jumping, totally ignoring all the defences around that world. That's no longer possible, which makes for more interesting battles. However, I find that it does slow down gameplay a bit. Perhaps this could be solved by having ship "group up" faster to jump, when ordered to groupjump.
also, bear in mind the vast size of samegame files.
Or am I the only one who caught the hint?
So once again- I'm pushing for dual core optimization. Seconded, my core2duo has some trouble with the late game as well. that might be the duallcore issue, might be optimisation trouble. (it's 6650 at 2.3)
Nice to see it's allready being fixed love the new art!
well here we go, someone who always insists that everything is equal I'd be the last person to agree with GW's "balancing". there's a reason they're up to (I think) 5th edition with WH40k and 7th with WH, and it's not the extra content... Every WH40k player knows that, while all sides are equal, some are more equal
the closest the galaxies come is probably 20, 30 x the distance between any one set of planets asuming you mean solar systems... pluto (back when it was a planet) had an orbit (presumably still has though) of about 250 AU's, which is about 0.004 Ly. Alpha centauri is about 4.3 Ly away...or about a fice hundred times further then getting from pluto on one side to pluto on the other side of the solarsystem. all top-of-my-mind, so feel free to point
4.5 billion expensive? You could buy a hundred of those telescopes for the cost of the Iraq war... Literally. basically where the earth eclipses the sun. In line with two masses, beyond the smaller mass. It's where the light from the sun doesn't bother your camera (as much) Wikipedia is your friend anything that starts with I-acronym is already
European retail sales were very disappointing. Hopefully the upcoming Gold Edition release will do better. Indeed, I don't know a single person who plays GC2 (that I didn't meet in there) I completely understand having to comform to market standards. Creating a really complex game which nobody will buy isn't exactly good business strategy Please, pretty please, stop underestimating your customers intelligence.
besides, you wont admit that they require more talent. In the table top game? Not exactle MORE skill, but different skill. Just as the Eldar take skill, the Guard take skill and the CSM take skill and, though some might say otherwise, even the space marines take skill. It's just a different strategy.
Yes, a triple post, because i found something else strange which i can't find reported. Can anyone explain how the cannon got turned upside down. For some odd reason, I can't Edit the above post.... here's a screeny of that bug, note the message window, it only occurs when you have researched "Basic crew training"
Found a problem, Someone must have seen it, but i can't find it being posted here before When you've researched Basic Crew Training and build a capship, the message box at the top says something like this: " [old message] _____Reached level 2 Construction of Marza completed " (the underscores aren't there, but the forum won't take space before words)
I think it is because of that zoom in "movie" at the beggining. I do get a lagspike during that zoom-in, but it never crashed on me. Not enought virtual memory increasing your swap space might work there, you're a bit low on RAM. AFAIK the memoty leak problem was solved, and never did this.
