I can confirm this as well - after a save and reload the adjudicators don't fire anymore - I wish I knew that before I quit last night!! [e digicons]>:([/e]

Well - After several games with 2.5 beta, and reading alot of posts on mines and mine sweeping - I have an idea. Do you think that if the scout had a reduced mine detector range and a special pulse (with one very long cooldown period) that could temporarily disable the visible mines for a duration that suits the game balance. This would have the following effects. 1. The possible need for several scouts to disable a section o
Well - I can confirm that this is from the Vasari point of view - the TEC base 'jiggles' when your fleet jumps in. I was able to test the Advent SB though and their SB is fine (as is the Vasari one) - it's just the TEC's one. @ LordAlthalus - Yeah. I thought they might have done that - at present then it's just a text error. They are both very minor bugs - but knowing SD and IC they like to know anyway.
A few more to add - still minor though; The text for the Kostura Cannon discription (when built) is cut off. The TEC Starbase seems to 'jiggle' left and right while tracking targets - it does this quite fast which is odd for a gigantic starbase!
As with everthing - add the options to shorten games, so then those of us that like long epic games can play as well as those who don't. Has anybody tried the game options to speed up reasearch - money, e.c.t in the game menu? Does this not work correctly in MP as I never tried it?
I would like to see some more single player and multiplayer aspects put in - something for everybody, like better AI for mines and more focus on diplomacy, fleet - trading ect - all stuff that has been touched on already. Some planetary improvements as well which would bolster diplomacy e.c.t. It could be difficult to add in though without making micro management a real pain.
I noticed that one as well - don't know if thats by design or a glitch! I'm going for the latter! [e digicons];P[/e]
Yep - I can confirm this one as well - Vasari repair bay also crashes the game if clicked on repair and then empty space. Well found Cpth Miller!
Funny that - I got on with them really well, I created merry havoc with them against pirates! They are expensive, but in a earlier version they were too cheap and were everywhere with little cost - it might still need a little more balance work - but I like 'em! [e digicons]:)[/e]
Just a couple of minor glitches in beta 2.5 (mainly text based) (as Vasari) The Ruiner mine laying window states that you can right click 'auto-cast' mines - this no longer works. The new mine laying system, however, is much better - it works better queueing orders now. Overall I now feel the mine system is much better - and I did not end building to many without spending a fortune which seems to balance it out well. The Vasari Star Base also
I always played as Vasari from the very beginning and I have to agree that I don't belive that they should have a anti-SB ship, one of the many charms of Sins is that each race is very different - it might need to be fine balanced later but its been designed to work this way. It can be difficult to use the Vasari SB correctly though and I'm still trying to perfect it. If we're not careful we'll all end up with another command and conquer 3 with all three sides ending
Not fixed in Entrenchment either - ver Beta 2.0
Fixed in Entrenchment beta 2.0 - but not in normal sins! I hope that they can fix the orginal later then!
I've found a bug with saving and reloading games from vanilla Sins. When you start a new game you have a colour backdrop and each star you zoom in has a different colour backdrop. If you save and reload all backdrops default to a light blue one with out zooming out to black either. Its quite annoying as it makes each map feel the same when you reload and ruins the feel of each map quite a bit. I've tried a few different drivers - but no luck. Anybody else see
Hi, I've noticed that the star activity slows down during a game and eventually stops - this happens quite quickly (around 20 mins). To reproduce the bug - start a new single player game - play as normal, and check the star during the game. Its not a game breaker but I'd thought I'd mention it. Windows Vista 32 bit 4 gig ram - nvidia geforce GTX260 (latest driver)
Interesting - I'd have to admit that I really do like starbases, I just hope when entrenchment is released they can make a starbase last long enough to bring my fleet back from halfway across a map, which is part of my problem now.
So then - I just played 2 games (as vasari!) with the 1.13 patch and did'nt get on too well, I've played the beta a bit as well - but at the moment I'm just playing normal sins, on normal difficulty!) Well - put simple, I got the crap beat out of me by the AI (who to be honest played real well!), but the main reason for both my defeats were because my home planet got bombed and taken by the AI while my main fleet was engaged half way across the galaxy. I know how to play sins, a
[e digicons]XD[/e] Alright - so its not serious - but hell, I'd thought I'd mention it anyway!
Hi, I found an odd bug with the stars main 'heat / shimmer effect' slowing down after time to a complete stop after around 10 mins of play. There does not seem to be a particular trigger for this, only time. If you play the game normally - keep checking the star and you'll notice that the activity gets less and less until it nearly stops altogether in about 10 to 15 mins.
Hi - Found a couple of glitches, bugs and gameplay issues; Playing Vasari The Orkulus can build colony pods before it is reasearched in fortification. The Orkulus moves real fast for a starbase - its faster than a cap ship!! The build time for the Orkulus is very fast - I dont know so much about this one, I would think that something as epic as a starbase would take awhile to build and cost a fortune. The light textures (like city lights) on
I read at the end of the Neoseeker review of entrenchment that there won't be a retail release of the 3 micro expansions, can anybody confirm if this is true - and more importantly - why? There are some players that may not be able to get the expansions any other way, why cut them out of the game?
11. Widescreen loading screen! Go on, you know you want to!! [e digicons][/e] I'll buy you all a [e digicons][/e] !
I think that you hit the nail on the head there Brenil. Not long back I was part of EVE online which I had been playing for about 4 months and enjoying it, after a while I joined a player corp and it all started to go downhill big time. I started to get pressured in to doing this, that and you must kill them - then I started to get called stupid for some of my decisions and after a while I thought 'is this all I have to look forward too when I play?' so I quit and never
Good question - for me, I'm still training against the computer as I've not had the game long, I want to be able to beat the computer on hard without problems before I try multiplayer. I'm hoping that the multiplayer side of sins is going to be a little better than alot of other games, I'm all for a multiplayer game but I dont always like the 'issues' some people have, eg personal attacks, disconnecting and noob bashing is not my idea of fun - but I'll willing to give it a try!
Thanks for the update guys! Is there any chance of a widescreen loading menu? I asked about it a while back and frogboy said you might be able to help! The original loading screen in 1680x1050 is badly stretched in all versions. (DL, DA & TotA)
