That, or copy the xml you're going to mod into the mod folder, mod it, then activate it. That way you can turn the mod on or off as you like.

It's hardly difficult to mod the files, and it means they don't need to code a load of extra checks. Once any files have been modded, it autovoids the game for metaverse. Easiest way to do it.

Are you sure that he didn't mean that when they do MP, they won't *just* add hotseat? If you can get MP done, the hotseat part is easy to add, and IMO can be much funner than a normal mutiplayer game if you have the right people playing.
