My Posts looks fine using Firefox 2.0.0.11. I suggest that you CTRL + F5 to clear your css cache. Firefox is pretty bad with hanging onto expired cache.

Personally I think that labeling it 'Possible Identity Theflt and Security Risk' is greatly overblowing the situation. I do however, understand that it would make people uncomfortable. I'm scheduled to make an update to the forums this week, and I'll remove the actual birthday from the display. If you're really worried about people knowing your birthday, you might want to have a talk with the folks at Zaba search. Simply entering a name for most people will reveal their birthday.
dragonmage posted this link in the news post announcing SoundPackager. Always the curious monkey, I decided to check it out. Lo and behold it's a treasure trove of old school sounds for your PC. The developer and site owner has even been so gracious as to allow anyone to download and use them. If you're into SoundPackager already and are looking for some oldschool sound flavors, give the site a visit
Good to hear Aaron. Thanks for the feedback.
mcgilles, It's not deleted from your disk. It's moved to the proper location so that SoundPackager can play nice with it Look under the Advanced Tab. The 'My Packages' location is where it was moved to.
It may be a silly request, but Just like WB allows us to choose Windows Classic and Windows Aero (or Luna) from the list of skins, can the options on the advanced page migrate to the "Pick a Package" page? Interesting suggestion. It's currently our contention that the 'Windows Default' and 'None' settings for Sound Schemes are in fact, system default settings, and don't fall under the guise of 'Sound Packages'. Which is why we created the buttons t
The next update (beta) will have the ability to choose (for each user) where the soundpackages are kept and where the program will look for them.
That feature will be available in the next beta update. Unfortunately I dont have information at the moment on when that update can be expected.
Neil has a very good explanation of what those downsides are in the 'I don't want WB moving my skins!!!' thread Indeed. His argument has a lot of merit. However, SoundPackager packages are meant to be edited by all, and easily. Additionally Windows' sounds are defined with the system on a per-user basis (Microsoft's choice, not ours). Because of this, they fall moreso under a per-user file. The good news is that we will be allowing users to choose th
neophil78, If the program crashes it includes instructions on how to report the crash. Namely emailing the SoundPackager.debug file which contains detailed information for the developers on the crash. Also, just saying that it crashes doesnt help us to help you. Please be more specific so we can help get the program stable for you.
alpha-prime, can you please describe what you were doing at the time the error occurred, or what action caused it? If possible, please email the sound file you were attempting to play to andrew at stardock.com.
iambennuris, I will pass that suggestion along to some folks. Thank you.
Yes please describe the conditions under which the error happened (what you were doing at the time, etc)
This is corrected with the last update.
We're planning a contextual help system for the application. Questions like those are proof that it's needed.
RE: Line 5 Error Thanks for the reports. We have like a bazillion of them now, no need for any more. (We also have it fixed for the next update). Restore Windows Default Sounds will work after the update. I cannot comment on when the update will be available. Revision: Let me apply a skin to it. No, zubaz The client UI will not be sk
I use IE6 at work because well, I'm a website developer and since IE6 is still a major part of our traffic we have to pay special attention to it. I have IE7 installed on my Vista test box right next to that. At home I run IE6. Why? (You might ask) IE sucks. There's no doubting that. Firefox sucks... inconsistantly. That's where the difference for me lies, and why I refuse to use the browser unless I'm A. debugging javascript or B. I've recently had a labotomy. IE7 is
Hey, I need some icons.... tomorow. Hang in there man, or just skip town and hit the states again.
Again...not the freaken point. I am not the only one having site problems. My friend " Marchesa " that joined the site a few weeks ago is experiencing the same problem logging in to site everytime she tries and she HAS DSL. Just because you don't have the problem doesnt mean one doesnt exist for others. Let's try and be civil towards other users who are being pretty friendly, even if they are offering alternative solutions to issues. Most
ASP.NET Ajax is great
Also, when you become a Wincustomize Subscriber, you have the ability to choose how many skins per page you would like to view.
How is this a deviation from your standard appearance? andrew_ cries, and then hugs mittens. Let's run away together.
